Kaos_KidSWTOR
Tier Armor? Dont know what your talking about. There's different Tiers of armor. Light, Medium, Heavy and Adaptive. Or are you talking about the 55 Armor Tiers? with Basic, Elite, and Ultimate comm gear?
Belshoh
Also, what is your issue? Are you just needing general knowledge? Or, do you have a specific question. Are you referring to the mod rank, the armor rank, the name rank (classic, basic, elite, and etc), or... You're very vague as to what you're looking for making it overly hard to respond. psandak
An "armor tier" usually consists of sets of armor (for each class and/or role) that is of a specific level of quality (better and better overall stats). Armor tiers do not really come into play until "eldergame" (at the level cap) because it is at that point that the only way to improve your character(s) is through gear. As you progress through the eldergame content (Hard Mode Flashpoints, Story Mode and Hard Mode Operations), the quality of the gear increases; the stat allocations on each piece of gear goes up. Lower end tiers can be acquired fairly easily by consistently running Hard Mode Flashpoints (four person group content), but to get higher tiers one either must spend a LOT of time running Hard Mode Flashpoints or engage in eight man and/or 16-man operations. Everything up to and including the second best tier is also available for sale on the GTM. Other players craft pieces of gear one can buy.
