Jerba
Just a small heads up if you have changed or removed your loading screen (splash screen). If you have not done that or don't know what I'm talking about, you can ignore this thread. With Patch 5.9.2, the loading screen is changing. (They are just replacing the Bioware logo with the new logo design, nothing major). However, if you have edited or removed your loading screen, your installation of patch 5.9.2 will fail. Therefore, make sure to restore the original loading screen before installing 5.9.2. Should you no longer have the original loading screen, you can use the repair function in the launcher prior to patching to restore it. If you forget to restore your loading screen, and then when installing the patch you get an error message, there is an easy fix. Close the launcher, then delete the file "retailclient_swtor.version" in your SWTOR folder, and open the launcher again. You'll get a small download (less than 100 MB) and will be good to go. dipstik
bump! i forgot to do this and got stuck during 5.10 patch. i moved all the files in patch folders to new directories called old and i was able to repair... wish the launcher was smart enough to patch a 0 byte loading screen
