Flying-Brian Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Yes, as it has been posted elsewhere. When you acquire an item does not matter.You can remove armoring from any item that has one. If you remove the armoring from some high end items, it will bind to that slot (so it can only be transferred from chest to chest). Currently, Armorings of level 61 or above (new in 1.2) have the set bonus on the armoring. Items of level 58 or below (existed before 1.2) have the set bonus on the item, not the armoring. Chest - Black Talon Hunter's Body Armor [black Talon Flashpoint - Can't recall which boss drops it] Legs - Prototype Mabari Laminated Legguards Boots - Mercenary's Boots Hands - Tempered Laminoid Gauntlets He's only level 20, so I'm not sure knowing the legs, boots, and hands helps much...they're Blue and Green items. I haven't found permanent Custom items to replace them with yet, but I'll be keeping my eyes open for the orange items that look like them... Most of my gear is either bought off market, made or commendation buys. I really like the look of the elite war hero bounty hunter chestpieces (black&white) and FINALLY finished the tedious grind to get both colors. so now my PVE set is white EWH chestpiece with a mandolorian helmet and the PVP is the exact same except black Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
