BC PVP 2.2 and Beyond Records

Ok! Here is the new thread for PVP Records! The rules will be the same and will be posted below, BUT to make sure that these are all new screenshots.. the phrase "BC NIM"(2.7) NEEDS to be in your chat box in the screenshot to be valid! I will also add it to the rules sections. Have fun!

Rules:

1) Screenshots must be legitimate - IE you cannot farm for particular stats and each SS will be evaluated for this.

2) The phrase "BC NIM"(2.7) or the DATE(in the format MM/DD/YY) MUST be in the screenshot to count. You can /shout, /yell, /say it (EXCEPT whispers) and can even be said by someone else, but it must be in chat and not just typed into the bar. NO EXCEPTIONS (unless I deem it)

3) To keep a standard median we will use all in-game statistics - This includes DPS, I understand you can calculate it however the game for some reason has its own set of equations and conditions so to make everything standard we will follow the built in counter.

ADDENDUM 1

: Same character postings are allowed, BUT there is a restriction. Same character records can hold up to 3 ranks(in any order and number) as a

maximum

4) Screenshots must be of max level pvp (Sub-Bracket does not qualify)

ADDENDUM 1

: If you forget to put the phrase or date in the screenshot; please have someone else who was in the same warzone in which you are trying to claim a record post their SS. It will

not

be accepted if

YOU

post someone else's SS to validate your own SS.

5) Acceptable items are a last resort to prove a screen is valid. Only used for, "Oh &^$% I forgot the date and none of my friends are in this match" situations. They MUST be fully visible in a toolbar slot to be valid.

Acceptable items as of 5/08/14: the Ikas XK-7 mount, the Desler DA-5 mount, the Rendili SF-3 mount, the Korrealis Countess mount, the Highland Dewback mount, Ghorfa Bantha mount, the Forest Assault Tauntaun mount, and the Mini-Mogul PU-1 pet.

6) Keep this thread clean. We don't need excessive arguments. I have no qualms about telling someone they are banned from posting SS's if they can't be civil.

7) Have fun with this! This isn't meant to solidify anyone's ego.

NOTE 2: In the case of a tie between a Healer and DPS/Tank, Obj. Points and then medals will take precedence over damage done/healing done to promote fairness. Of course, if the tied record is regarding either, then they are not considered.

I'm not sure if I am interpreting this right, but if someone posts a record for someone else you will take it so long as the record is specified correct?

I will take this on a case by case basis. Using Evo's claim as an example. Evo himself posted for the records of high damage and high DPS even though it was Canin's SS. you can clearly see his character had the high damage claim but since it did not show his dps claim I would not allow it. If someone is posting on behalf of someone else, I would ask they get the permission of the person they are posting for, just as a courtesy. I mean if that person wanted to post they could do so themselves if they really wanted.

But to specifically answer your question, yes I will, but it the SS must clearly show what they are claiming for the other person AND still follow all the rules. What I meant in that phrase is that people were claiming one record for themselves were in fact they themselves broke several, but still only claimed the one record and I will only look for the record claim and fix records accordingly.

Oh and just to save time on my part If anyone is claiming multiple records off of one SS just link it one time please. Thank you.

I know we totally didn't follow the rules cause we were a bit miffed and some of us were drunk but this should be in some sort of ...something:

This irritates me to no end. The other team doesn't have enough players or enough rage to shutdown and your team still loses? I call shenanigans! Seems to me like it would be an easy way to get your weekly done with not much coordination/effort. I like the shutdown tiebreaker mechanic of Hypergate. I hope they consider adding something similar to every warzone. Sorry to detract from the purpose of this thread, but this is one of the things that makes me RAAAAAAGE!

I'm still in the process of updating as we speak, as I was updating after I posted the challenge, but was pulled away by an emergency, and my time is very limited this week. But even going forward I will only be updating every Sunday, Wednesday and possibly Friday if my college work and internship does not get in the way, so just be patient

EDIT: Ok! It is updated! Fixed Neymar's medal count as it was off by one and as a note you are second as you had more deaths than Zuhara

We both went over the target number though. His challenge is like a Price Is Right Showcase Showdown... closest to his number without going over. It was one hell of a match though, one of the best Hypergates I've ever played!

and you still didn't vote for me for some reason I disconnected on loading the WZ which although I was on your side my group member (and guildie) was on the other side so I didn't get any votes as no one on our side could vote for me (that's my excuse anyway)

Considering we got double capped the first two rounds yet still came back was actually a very good match. Damn operative healers cant kill them

I absolutely would have if I could! I was wondering how you ended up on our team because I saw you in the /who list and you weren't on our team, then you were. So many wonky things going on with warzones lately... last night we had nine players on a Huttball team. I haven't seen that bug in ages.

Two notes: this was ranked, albeit casual ranked. This is the one I mentioned in another thread where our team got 0 kills...which I've never seen in 18 months playing this game. Great job by the two Bluth healers and the 3 tanks...I'd call that another record, but we did have 1 player dc right at the start.

2 healers and 3 tanks makes killing a nightmare, especially with 2 good healers. Nice work Rois.

That's why I left it out the part where it's Ranked or Unranked, as I didn't really know what to classify it as. Either one takes the number 1 spot, but I feel as if this wasn't on the same level as I have come to expect from ranked.

But if we're just using this as a simple que separation only identification method, then that makes sense too.

I think because of all the kickball ranked we have been doing our records list should just be combined. Ranked records are supposed to be lower numbers and harder to get as the opposing team has gear and skill, but on the B.C. most of our ranked is now kickball which defeats the purpose of having a ranked record section.

Either only count records with guild ranked matches or just combined the lists.
