Floredon
To my surprise and dismay, SWTOR is no longer found on the Games and Apps section of the Star Wars website: http://www.starwars.com/games-apps What does this mean? Is this the last year for SWTOR? Or is it they have a captive audience and marketing through the website doesn't drive new players to the game? Perhaps they are experimenting with the marketing of the game? I was just looking for any SWTOR news, possibly hints at long term plans.
SithKoriandr
Since it wouldn't be anything to them to keep the game listed, I can't help but feel it's a bad sign. Maybe they don't want anything not canon listed though?
dr_mike
Maybe they don't want anything not canon listed though? Cewl! Lego Star Wars is canon! The original Knights is listed at the very bottom.
JediQuaker
I found it listed at the very bottom, under "Play online for free" after clicking on "show more".
LordTurin
I found it listed at the very bottom, under "Play online for free" after clicking on "show more". That's Knights of the Old Republic, not SWTOR though.
commanderwar
I think it probably a mistake considering the actual page for swtor is still there and can be searched http://www.starwars.com/games-apps/star-wars-the-old-republic
dr_mike
I still don't see it but... That's Knights of the Old Republic, not SWTOR though. ...it must be a mistake then since Knights of the old republic isn't online playable and it's certainly not free. It's like 10 bucks on gog.com. edit: It in under the Online and Free section with links to Steam and the Mac App store for purchase. Ok. SO it;s free and online but you have to buy it and play it off line. Hmmm.....
Galfor
Well funny thing is Disney said that anything released after they took over would be cannon and they did release add-on. I would put this into new cannon because Disney is still letting it run and releasing new things for it.

Galfor
then the op has a misleading thread title. No think it is a mess up on Whoever runs the Webpage because its still there you can still look it up in a search but if you go to game and apps I can not just pull it up only KOTOR shows up so I think someone messed up because KOTOR is under free to play. Nightblazer
Oooo another doom and gloom thread. Can't have a day without those. I doubt they would shut a game down they paid a ton of money to move and upgrade their data center for Swtor. But hey whatever gets you through the day.
