cxten Posted February 24, 2014 Share Posted February 24, 2014 (edited) The deletion seems pretty heavy-handed. The thread seemed more funny and community-building to me than anything else. If anything, it seemed it made guilds that had run it lots want to go in again to give it a try. Why delete a thread that makes people want to play your game more and have fun doing so? I mean, it's apparently not supposed to work, but threads about bugs don't seem to get deleted (see: raptus ramp threads). I guess they decided it was an "exploit" and deleted it? That can make sense for pvp exploits, but this is a pve fight that's nearing 5 months old. Moreover, it apparently wasn't trivial to carry out (see: the guy in that thread posting about how they couldn't survive the longer final phase). Does the deletion mean it's been fixed? Hopefully, this means that they are aware of the bug and since they deleted they thread, it must be urgent enough to be fixing it soon.
