So let me get this straight, the problem is people using tactics and not just flying around like you have a psychological disorder?

Exactly, the OP is used to matches where they can do Gunship ball and farm 2-ship players that have no clue... but if a premade or even organized players show up, have mercy on them cause they are not used to that.
Imp Side: Lormaru (PT), Antan (Sniper), Winnía (Sin), Nádía (Op)
Pub Side: Kendoru (Scoundrel), K'ún (VG), Wínnia (Shadow), Sukí (Slinger)

PvE: NiM EV(T), KP(T), EC(T), TFB(T), SV(T), DF, DP, Dreadful + Hateful Entity.

You know, I believe I'm sensing some hostility here. We don't group up to crush the common pilot into the dirt. We group up because we enjoy flying together. Winning is just a bonus really. And unlike some premades I have seen running, we don't rely on gunship spam. We rarely field more than 1-2 at a time, and only reluctantly add more when the other team has 5+ gunships forming a firing line. Having a diverse team with multiple ship classes makes for a much more enjoyable game.

We also fly pretty frequently pubside as well. In fact I'm almost always giving out advice while I am on my pub gsf character. Thats because I want pub (and imp) pilots to improve and grow into skilled pilots. I welcome the challenge of skilled pilots. So please do form your own premades, competitive matches are quite fun.

Acrimous has a strict non-discrimination policy regarding who he crushes

Against obviously new opposition we tend to run our worst ships. But if there's solid pub opposition anywhere in the lineup then we'll run our favorites, and the foodships are just going to get swept aside if they try to interfere. Like Acrimous said our favorite comp (if there are 8 of us) tends to be 1-2 gunships, 1-2 bomber, and the rest scouts and strikes. What makes us dangerous is the concentration of talent, not VOIP or cheese team builds.

Again, please make an excellent pub premade. Unless we get cross server that's pretty much how we're going to get opposition when all of us are on. Most of us are too plugged into the server in other ways to transfer or play alts elsewhere.

Wow. I watch a lot of these posts, and some of the people here are very full of themselves. The group I fly with flies for the fun of it. When Xi'ao and his cronies are on, we just go do something else, because it's not fun anymore when we get spawn camped. As if that weren't bad enough on its own, almost immediately after many such matches, a few of them (who, as I understand it, want to remain nameless) like to come over and gloat over us, and tell us how bad we are. There's WAY too much drama behind Shadowlands GSF, mostly perpetuated by Xi'ao's cronies. Yeah, you're skilled pilots. We get it. You chased us off. Congratulations. When we see more than two of you on at once, we'll get off your turf, and go do something fun. Give yourselves a huge pat on the back, and put all your preppy, quintessential 80's, polo shirt with the collar flipped all the way up wearing, thumbs WAY in the air to each other for sucking the fun out of the game for new and experienced players alike.

Gunship ball? LMAO... that would have required much more coordination than Republic pugs have ever done. I face this much more often then I've ever seen it on Republic running in pugs.

The point of this was to put together a premade of skilled pilots on Republic side to counter your imp premade. That would be fun, but as it stands, I hate being one of the few skilled players on Republic side facing 8-12 in primetime. Regardless of whether or not VOIP or coordination, a group of skilled pilots vs skilled pilots is the point of this post.

The problem with this is that you are looking for players with only one purpose (which is crush us into dust).

I admit that we run premades and stuff, but we don't do it to humilliate people... we do it because we like fly with eachother, we are friends, not some random top players that decided one day "Hey lets kill GSF on this server".

Believe it or no we got better by actually enjoying the game more than thinking on winning. Like Acrimous said before winning is just a bonus when you have fun.

I had no ill intent with the original post. There aren't anyone trying to put together premades on pub side, so I'd thought I'd try. There aren't anyone advertising guilds for GSF except Rogues. They don't seem to run as much as they used to. I'm not trying to put together a "crush" team, just one that is competitive and not usual 1-3 good players and 5-9 causals versus your 8-12 premade group, in which you guys crush regardless of how heroic those 1-3 good players are.

Fully skilled/experienced versus skilled/experienced would be fun, wouldn't it? I know when I ran with Rogues in 6-8 premades and decimating pugs that it was not very fun after a while.

Good luck getting something going. Pub side has felt moribund for months now outside the brief one week of conquest bonuses dragging a few folks back. Things were lively at least that week even if it was more Pub v Pub. Otherwise the queue's may be solid but it's either the same names, a new name that it takes all of a few minutes to realize is an alt of someone you know, or a f2p type with no intention of getting competitive. Maybe it's better earlier than I get online but I could count on my hands the number of Pub groups that weren't mostly solo folks (like me) against a premade look. Most of the time nothing is ever said in Ops chat before the match or during. So any Pub organization would be a good thing overall imo.

One of the few "fun" matches I've been in lately was last Thursday. We lost 50-46 or so but neither side devolved into a gs/bomber mess and mostly stuck with scouts and strikes. If we didn't have a couple of pilots that couldn't shoot a cap ship with their blasters welded to the hull (they did try at least but had no place among 13+ veterans) things might have gotten interesting.

I would like to help but I don't fly often enough these days to really be effective solo much less work into a team. When I do fly I seem to be more of a retro-destruction specialist than a useful pilot lol. I fear you won't find many "skilled/experienced" Pub pilots left on Shadowlands that don't primarily run in an Imp group or run way earlier than the better Imp teams.

I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't help that BW has made it clear GSF is behind the back burner (I mean, how do you roll back a buff or fix and not change the tooltip at least unless it's no concern of anyone ugh). So unless you're just in an active group you enjoy flying with there just isn't much to keep one around outside getting a weekly done or working conquest the really hard way. At some point in the next few weeks I'll finally finish the participation acheesements (1k matches/250 per ship type) and the handful of objective stuffs I haven't done and then I'll have a hard time continuing to fly. Running with a couple of guild mates one or two nights is all that's keeping me in right now.
