Please bring back Nar Shadaa Nightlife Event in 2016.

It might not be back until next year. Devs said there's no plan for it in the near future.

I've been waiting for the 'Nightlife Event' all summer, and have been biding my time with the 'Contraband Slot Machine' in my strongholds instead. We could really use an official word on the likelihood of this returning.

Ahh, thanks for the info. I reckon it won't be returning then? If that's the case... BUMMER. I'm probably one of the few that actually enjoy the 'Nightlife Event' on Nar Shaddaa. While I'm not a big gambler in real life by any means, I still love hanging-out in the Star Cluster Casino, while trying to acquire that elusive Rancor Mount.

No it wouldn't have. The people who have amassed millions would not be doing the event for the most part as they've already got what they want from it.

You also have the ones that would work even harder to continue keeping their balance in that massive amount even while they did it. (Remember the heroics are being restored this coming Tues, unless they've lied to us, again.)

 

The biggest being, it's done by botting & the bots wouldn't participate in the NS Nightlife event. lol

Just needs some legacy offhands (knives / shields / shotguns / focus etc) added to it. Shame it isn't back this year, I've done the DvL event

Come on Bioware... you're the king of recycling content, as for proof, look at the DVL event; surely you can't just turn the switch on and include some DVL packs as a reward from the casino?

If they did that, players would be player their pre-DvL toons though. Although DvL toons could get a few achievements for the last tier.

 

Say, "Earn One CM Token" and "Earn 5 Nightlife Casino Tokens from Slot Machines" or something...

bring it back, why? It was garbage. If they expanded on it and made say, sabaac or pazaak, maybe.

 

FFXIV has triple triad card game, as well as MANY MANY other games and races in the golden saucer, and the best thing is you can play them WITH OTHER PEOPLE. I would love a nightlife event like that.

Agreed. Our Rodian friend Noota Ropal always seems so lonely in the casino with no 'Nightlife Event' happening. I still enjoy paying him a little visit from time-to-time - err, even if he doesn't have any new prizes.

I still have 60 of the tokens in my legacy bank. Never figured out what to spend them on.

It just cracks me up how one of the very few examples of world interaction in the game not only was disabled for most of the year but now has been removed indefinitely. It's like Bioware sometimes actively enjoys wasting developement time and reversing previous improvements to the game.

I completely skipped out on Nightlife the second time it happened since I had already gotten everything out of it the first time and they didn't add anything new to it. I still think it's kind of dumb that they're not bringing it back again though.

I don't even have anywhere near the crazy fortunes that many others in the game have and I was doing that when Nightlife first hit. (Of course back then it was running dailies in Black Hole, Section X, etc. though. Not heroics.) I actually turned a profit out of the event while acquiring a rancor and at least one copy of every other prize the event had available because I specifically made it a rule for myself to start running dailies regularly and to try not to gamble away more than half of what I pulled in from the dailies.

Bring it back. I need to get that cool looking Han Solo gun (Kingpin’s Blaster Pistol) for my toons on Harbinger.
