Keep trying to login, it took me 4 to 5 try's to get in and then it will download the 1.7.0b Patch Good Luck

This worked for me: Find your CMD program icon. Run as administrator. Type in IPCONFIG, hit enter. Type in IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS, hit enter. Start the SWTOR client again. It will download a small patch, and let you continue as normal.
