I've recently started my second Jedi Knight, and i did Athiss, and found a good helm for my commando. however, when i went to mail the item to my commando toon, i noticed it was bound, and had a timer saying in 1 hour 38 mins it would permanently bind. I think that they should allow you to trade any bound item you have to any other toon in your legacy, basically what im saying is they shouldn't bind the item to a specific toon, but rather to your legacy. Any thoughts on this?

I would like to be able to do this but I think the issue comes in where people would "need" items they would usually "greed" in a group, for their alt, I guess they could fix this by only giving the need option to players who can wear the gear.

you hit upon the main reason i would be against this. if you want the item then run the content with the toon that you want it on.

Bad idea.. For the reasons already stated in the above posts..
Who is the more foolish? The fool or the fool that follows him?

+1

They would have to rework the need-greed buttons in order for your idea to be fair.
