Ok few things to try

Turn off Avast , check to see if it logins

In the swtor folder is a file called fixlauncher.exe give that a run then check login

Boot up in safe mode with networking and try to login, if this works then it is something on normal login.

Check there is no firewall on your router.

If it fails in safe mode, redownload the setup file and run over the top of the existing install

http://www.swtor.com/download

Can you login to your account on the website ?

Check the date and time on your computer matches the region setup in the website account.

Greetings maharajafreak,

Could you please power cycle your entire home network? Turn of the computer and modem/gateway, wait 30 seconds turn the modem back on and only once this is fully on turn on the computer.

Thank you!
