Space Missions should be dynamic

Is it asking too much that the missions not be 100% scripted or that what you do changes the script?

some examples:
if i complete the destroy all enemy fighters objective could the fighters stop spawning please?
if i take out the shield generators then all the targets on that capital ship should have half the hp or something
if i take out all the turrets then the capital ship should stop shooting
if i destroy the engines then how does that same capital ship outrun me at the end of the mission?

perhaps you all have other obersvations/suggestions?
