Beelady Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 ok just for kicks and giggles.. on healers.. you have a bounty hunter healer.. a sith sorc.. and a operative healer.. they are all geared the same stat wise.(meaning b. has aim. s. has willpower.. o. has his cunning..etc.) all 69-72 gear respectively . same amount of leveled gear.. . 4 set bonus as well and they all know their job and rotation... if you have them all in a raid..using a parser to see the heals..etc. and a big fight is going on.. people moving all over the place.. will they all heal the same amount.. or will one have higher heals due to the type of heal they can do..aoe heal vs solo heal vs hybrid healing.... on the fly..etc.. will one have lower heals because they don't aoe heal like a sorc.. but their one on one heals are larger? "all over the Place" Øm? Raid Damage incoming or single target? (any damage?) is damage prevented counted (bubble& Armour) whats the timeframe? does the healing generated by the mando heal buff (5%) count for the mando or do you just look at what the phaser gives you? how many people are we talking about 4, 8, 16 , 24, more? you weren't precise enough to get an ******* comparison that being said any lv50 commando will easily out-heal everything under the right circumstances, (bye bye servers) edit almost forgot the Edited July 12, 2013 by DarthSpekulatius Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Beelady Posted July 12, 2013 Author Share Posted July 12, 2013 average raid group. 8 people but because were talking more than 2 types of healers ill say a 16 man. in that instance so you can have at least 3 healers not the same class...you cant say for sure will that healer be single target healing.. healing a larger group.. or healing just 2 people.. also factor in will their targets go line of sight . or will they be spread all out where the healer has to run to them.. as many raids as i have been in.. people are rarely where you would think they would be.. have to factor in too.. are your targets range dps or mele.. i cant say totally what it would be because each run./boss fight varies. to make it even simpler for you.. all things equal in a 16 man.. who do you think will end up healing the most..on a parser... even if their single target healing is not the highest. im not worried about what damage the people are getting.. altho i do believe the parser doesnot count over heals? not sure on that. im talking about the end results after its all added up on the parser... maybe this will help. 1. who heals most single but cant aoe heal as much. (high single heal but it wont show up on parser as a high healer because aoe heal trumps it.) 2. who heals most aoe or grouped (huge heals on aoe because everyone hit adds up. but cant heal single as well as another class) 3. who would heal the most in general.. a jack of all trades so to speak. can aoe or single target heal makes a good tank heal maybe? Mercenary Mercs are marginally better at healing on the run. As far as who will top the meters? I don't give a damn. Topping the heal meters is not exactly the mark of a good healer.
