Zedkuss
I live in Seattle, WA which is PST. The forums show times that are way off and I cannot figure out how to change it. I searched every option in account settings.
Skoobie
You press "my account" on top there, log in (if it asks you to), and it will be under "Basic information". Edited December 30, 2011 by Skoobie

Zedkuss
I figured it out. If anyone else wants to know: If you're in the PST time zone you should select GMT-09:00 Not sure why they have this stupid setup..
TapVallian
The ability to change timezone info for forums is not in the Basic Information anymore. Where do you go to change the timezone for the forums? Mine reads 1 hour off. I've looked through all the forum options and can't find it.
Polebreaker
Time zone is in My Swtor - My Account - Contact Information. It seemed to have no effect on the forum timezone, which for me had been messed up since f2p launch, and seemed stuck on GMT no matter what I change the setting to... i.e. the forums show GMT time for everything even though it was set to gmt-5 in the contact info screen. Changing it to GMT, saving it, reloading the page, changing it back to gmt-5, saving, and reloading it seems to have fixed the problem.
