Thanks! -- I worked on something to make outfit submission easier for outfit submitters... it's a thumbnail creator. All you have to do is upload the big screenshot, and select a square. For the homepage, one thing you might do as time goes on and more submissions get made is display X# of random sets on the index page. That will always keep something on the front page, but still allow people to search through them later on using your filter system. PS-EDIT: Another idea I just had after posting this is for the screenshots. Now while some gear is not just republic or empire it does change visuals depending on which side your on. However the item name in the game is the exact same. It doesn't happen often but there are a few of them. So the idea I had was rather than having someone create a whole new submission for those rare cases; add a flag to the screenshots. Republic or Empire, and depending on the side have a watermark display over the screenshots in the bottom corner. I'm going to wait till I have more entries (so I can properly test) before I start putting le buttons on the homepage for filtering. (Quick example, show all social gear: http://swtorista.com/?category=2) -- What I'm working on currently is A) Cataloging all my current trooper gear (AWWW YEAAAAHHH) B) Creating a secondary type of database to handle guns / sabers, another to handle usable items like the life day orb, another for pets and a last one for speeders. It doesn't have as nice a layout as mine, and probably not as user-friendly... but it set out what I was trying to do by setting up proper filters AND has HUNDREDS of entries already and is being kept up to date. Sooooooo.... that means there's 0 need for this project, as they'd just be duplicates in content and functionality. The rest of the photos are coming throghout the week. Next steps are dealing with those same-image and same-name items, which I've got a solution, now. Just gotta do the code.
