I have grinded alot and I want to have fun with a class. But I wanna know which one I should pick to have fun, mechanics wise. I like abilities that will do instant damage...Not like the poisons and stuff. Preferably Jedi or sith

Disclaimer: these are my opinions, and are not based on "toppest of the top performance" criteria, but simply on "general gameplay fun".

 

For ranged work among the Force User classes, Lightning Sorcerer / Telekinesis Sage meet the specified requirements, although in general the Sorc animations are more entertaining (lightning FTW!).

 

Up close, I'd go for Infiltration Shadow or its Assassin equivalent to avoid DoT effects, or Vigilance Guardian/Vengeance Jugg. I find Marauder / Sentinel harder work, in part due to a lack of familiarity. Bah.

I wrote a longer response, but something screwed up and I lost it all.

 

So, short version - Gunslinger for ranged, Jedi Sentinel or Sith Marauder for melee.

I have played MANY classes over and over since day one and i have to say that my fav is a lightning sorc

I do love Jugg too and commando is cool.

my experience, my choice for range Jedi are the same as SteveTheCynic, to me they seem to take the least effort to play and are fun.

not a force user, but I also like mercenary for the ease of play

And yet another opinion:

 

For me the in-your face-yet still-kiting style of Vanguard/Powertech and Ruffian Smuggler/Lethality Operative is a lot of fun. When you want the fun in story and animations as well, pick the smuggler, kicking them in the nuts before firing a shotgun to their face never gets old, and the smuggler story can be quite hillarious if you want to.

 

If it really has to be a force user: Lightning Sorc. Fun gameplay and great story.
