...Then there would be an awesome group effort experince for a space combat. B-17 footage was even used on creating the space combat scenes on the original movies (that's your Milenium Falcon basically). If not for PVP, this would be a great way to include raiding PVE folks to the space combat.

 

Think about it. Your guildies or group in a one ship with their own position and task to fill.

They have said multiple times that support bombers are coming in February: they were way overpowered in Beta and needed major design changes.
