Hello All,

 

I had a quick question I was hoping some of you could help me answer. I have been trying to get a specific chest piece to drop for quite some time now, at no avail (Unwavering Vanguard's Maelstrom Chestplate). As seen in the Torhead article, it says that it drops in the normal mode FP Boarding Party. I have been running this flashpoint for weeks now, more times than I'd like to remember, and was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get it. I know that it does drop because I saw someone wearing it on my server. He said it dropped from BP. If it does drop from this FP, does anyone have any tips or tricks to help with the drop rate. I appreciate any and all help on the subject. I apologize if this is a re-post, I'm not on the forums very often.

If you don't have a trooper in your party, I don't think you'll see it drop. They modified how that type of stuff drops a while back.

I've been farming it on my Mercenary, and the gentleman that had it was a Powertech that got it not too long ago.

Looks really close (but not identical) to the TT-15a Powertech chest. If all you want is the skin, this chest drops from champions and WBs as well as in the heroics on Taris. There is also the Talz champion on Hoth by Dorn Base who drops this as well.
