Refer a friend is broken

Would of been nice if this company was good enough to say "RAF is not working at the moment" on the actual page where you do RAF.

The friend I referred actually subbed so I could get the bonus coins and speeder, I feel cheated as this is false advertising.

I actually got a reply, My problem has been moved to a "Specialist team" which is Bioware/EA customer services code for "We can't be bothered to actually help you right now so we will just use a copy and paste answer and if we feel like it get back to you in a few weeks".

I've had some bad customer support experiences with some other MMO's but this one has to be the worst so far.

After 4 days of waiting and sending in a few tickets this problem still isn't fixed, I wouldn't mind but the person that subbed actually did it for the bonus we would get.

 

I will not recommend this game to anyone again after such low quality, Poor, Shoddy, Customer support as well as false advertising

I got another "We are working on the problem" reply, That's nearly 2 weeks now, If this isn't sorted out before my account gets renewed I will cancel my sub and the other account that I referred will be cancelled.

 

Sounds whiney I know but when a company advertises something and doesn't deliver it's called false advertising and you have the god given right to be annoyed at said company for lack of advertised service.

The person I referred actually cancelled his sub yesterday and went back to WoW, Not just because we both didn't get the bonus items that were advertised but because he was getting horrendous lag and all manner of other problems, He's also an EU player on a US server.

 

PS It still has nothing in the refer a friend section of account management :rolleyes:

I'm not sure I have mentioned this in the forums yet, but I have two referrals that aren't linked and none of us have gotten the rewards.

 

I'd really love it if someone could look into that.

Good luck getting the FTC or whoever is charge of enforcing the law to do something (not being sarcastic).

Still haven't got anywhere with customer services, 3-4 months have passed, July was my first referral, Surely no customer services department can be that crap ???

 

*posting in multiple refer a friend problem thread so maybe someone will see this and realize "oops, we f****d up"*
