TT-17a Hydra Armor is a rare drop that people usualy pay alot of money for but, lately this armor is piling up in the GTN. People used to sell it for 950k-1.5 million but, now people are having a hard time selling it at 650-750k. What happened and why?

 

I'm on the Harbinger Server.

Im on the shadowlands server but they've dropped in price too. I think it's because there is more people with hydra gear and there are more ppl trying to sell it.

Legacy armor maybe? Looks similar.

That armor is overrated. I don't see the appeal in it since its color scheme is so plain and just boring.

with the new adaptive armors available through the cartel store...why throw down 1 million credits when you get better looking unique gear for free? (free cartel coins with subscription)

I'm on Jedi Covenant, and I have an extra FULL SET of the TT-17a Hydra armor. I'll sell the entire thing in one shot for one million credits. That armor, plus a D-200 Military Enforcer, is the closest you can get to having Shae Vizla's armor in-game.

No, actually. The Exalted Hunter set is much closer in color scheme to Shae Vizla's armor, lol.

She had like a 4 second appearance in the "Signs of War" trailer and yes, in that trailer her armor DID resemble the Hydra set (Except for the helmet). However, i doubt many people wanted that look.

See, if the secondary color on the Hunter's Exalted set weren't BRIGHT *********** ORANGE, I would recommend it over the TT-17a Hydra set in a picosecond.

 

That said...when did THIS get removed? Was it just outright CALLED Shae Vizla's armor, or was it just a generic set with that appearance?

I'm on the shadowlands server and have one hydra chestpiece up for sale. There's 4 others up there currently. Interest seems to have dropped as of late. Wish it was for both trooper and bounty hunter like other similar orange. there are a few pieces in cartel marker that are similar now too which doesn't help. I still like the hydra and still have it on my bounty hunter. The Hydra was, and still is, one of the best looking gear pieces for bounty hunters in my opinion. The comm gear...blah. Not everyone likes that standard issue government look.

I believe it was a generic set, yeah. Possibly customizable, i think? It may be a lower level PVP set (Since, if i remember correctly, there used to be level 25 PVP gear as well as level 30ish PVP gear. This was quite a bit back in beta, though.)

 

But yes, i agree, i strongly dislike the orange on the Exalted set. If only we could get a dye system now...
