So, after returning to the game and deciding to give it another shot I've determined I'm ready to look for a guild.

 

Bottom Line: Seeking an Imperial guild with a full time emphasis on serious PvP and PvE secondary . (Yes i understand the PvP is lackluster but there's not many better alternatives atm and with the level cap being raised soon theres no better time to get back into the game without worrying about gear issues)

 

What I am NOT looking for: A 'raiding' guild where raiding is top priority. A guild who splits time between republic and empire. i only play empire and im not looking to change that.

 

I'll try to be succinct but as thorough as possible out of respect, so please show mutual respect by not sending me a blind invite. Communication is a two way street, so I expect some type of interview process where we can discuss why I should want to join, and unless both parties feel there would be a good match, I intend to remain solo. Pedigree/brief background:

 

Long time MMO player, numbers driven dirty Min/Max'er who likes to get the most out of his play time which is not as much as i'd like it to be, but its at least enough to be more than casual. Dislikes the word mature, but considers self to be an adult with a decent sense of humor, if a bit dry. Enjoys PvP in all forms (world or matched) and PvE with the exception of raid guild mentality where i have to take a number and on every 3rd Tuesday I might be able to roll on some gear but only if that day ends in an odd number, and only if no one else more senior needs it for a companion....yet am expected to be there to put in the time like everyone else every day. Also not looking for a guild comprised of immature individuals who use derogatory slang about various minority groups every 5th word. basically, I consider myself an adult and want to enjoy playing the game with other adults.

 

That said: Doesn't go along to get along, is opinionated and doesn't mind sharing, avoids discussion of real world issues (im here to play a game, not discuss politics/religion/your kids/the decline of modern civilization or lack thereof). Prefers to discuss pros and cons of different builds, doesn't care for FoTM, enjoys the arguments of "balancers" (and dismantling them), and generally eschews trash talking, in favor of keeping PvP respectful and above the board.

 

Game wise, prefers to play tanking classes stealth melee dps, or ranged DPS. Doesn't mind being 'tha healor", but prefers to be the pocket tank for a competent dps.

Mythic Core tester (3 years Warhammer experience) guild - Circle of Rage on Volkmar, Sylvania.

City of Heroes/Villains (5 years on an off) Justice and some Freedom servers - 500 rep on numerous 50s)

SWG - Tempest Server - (too long) /sigh...

If you are still looking, my guild does both PVE and PVP, we are casual but we do raids as well. We are currently looking to fill out our raid teams, but if you know what you are doing, we need somebody to handle the PVP aspect as well. We are still a fairly young guild, and as such we are building. As for the "mature" aspect, the majority of our guild are adults, but we have a few "youngsters". We do some trash talking, but for the most part it is good natured ribbing between guildies. We don't care what your religion, race, creed, or sexuality is.
