What Class Would They Play?

Recommended Posts

I saw a few threads that got wiped out recently asking what classes famous lore characters from the movie saga or the games would play. I realized it would make for a fun thread.

Just reply with some characters and what class you think they would play; add advanced class as well if you feel like it!

For example:

Han Solo: Obviously Smuggler/Scoundrel?

Darth Vader: Sith Warrior/Juggernaut

Darth Maul: Sith Inquisitor/Assassin

So now just post you favorite characters and what class you think they would play and why!

:D

Darth Bane: Imperial Sniper, Sith Juggernaught

Darth Zannah: Sith Assassin (although with some good Sorc abilities too)

Assaj Ventress: Sith Marauder

Jerec: Sith Inquisitor

Ahsoka: Jedi Sentinel

Han Solo/Lando: Scoundrel

Dash Rendar: Gunslinger

Mara Jade: Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow

Luke Skywalker: Jedi Guardian

Leia Organa Solo: Jedi Sage

Jacen Solo: Jedi Guardian

Darth Caedus: Sith Juggernaught with Sorc and Shadow abilties.

Jaina Solo: Jedi Sentinel

Lumiya: Sith Assassin

Palpatine: Sorcerer

Tyrannus: Marauder

Maul: Assassin

Kyp Duran: Jedi Sentinel

Kyle Katarn: Gunslinger, then Guardian

Jaden Korr: Sentinel

Corran Horn: Guardian

Cilghal: Sage

Octa Ramis: Sage

Saba Sebatyne: Jedi Sentinel

Kam Solusar: Sith Juggernaught/Jedi Guardian

Tionne Solosar: Jedi Sage

Kenth Hamner: Jedi Guardian

Jag Fel: Imperial Operative

Ben Skywalker: Jedi Guardian

These are mine anyways, Curious to see what other people think. Jedi like Luke and Jacen are tough to pin down, and I tried to assign them more based on roles rather than fighting style or 1/2/DB LS

Obi-wan Kenobi I would pin down as more of a Jedi Shadow, believe it or not.

He tends toward diplomacy in most situations which gets him the "Title" (:p) of Negotiator, which has the Consular flair to it, and especially on the Death Star he made use of his stealth abilities, just drop the double saber and there you go.

However, his Guardian nature is more prominent in the Clone Wars, especially when wearing that awesome heavy armor and being a master of Soresu.

What about Revan and Malak?

I kind of picture Malak being a Juggernaught...

I have no clue for Revan though.

Thoughts?

Revan, while being known to be powerful in the force, was more well known as a warrior. He even wore "heavyish" pieces of armor under his robes and then there's his mask. I'd say both Malak and himself were Juggernauts. Later it's a toss up between guardian and sage.

revan started out as a guardian, progressed to being them ost bad@ss jugg in the galaxy, and then got the abilities of both guardians and sages because hes just that tough.

question: i know someone posted it earlier, but idk. someone said Dash would be a gunslinger. im actually going to on a new server make a smuggler named dash and eventually give him the legacy rendar, and for the life of me dash seems like a gunslinger with only one blaster, but if i do that then im gimping myself...help?

Mara Jade: Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow

Hah, now I'd always thought that Mara Jade was supposed to be the imperial agent.

Complete with hand of titles, hearing voices, and horribly self-destructive behavior - at least initially.

She does have force powers.

With that said, so does Ensign Raina Temple...

I reckon you could go even more specific and try spec as well.

Anakin Skywalker: Vigilance Guardian/Vengeance Juggernaut (he uses Shien form)

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Defense Guardian (he uses soresu, and it sorta suits him)

Darth Sidious: Lightning Sorcerer

Mace Windu: Watchman Sentinel (uses Juyo)

Yoda: Combat Sentinel (uses Ataru)

Ahsoka Tano: Combat Sentinel

Aayla Secura: Combat Sentinel

Qui-Gon Jinn: Vigilance Guardian

Darth Maul: Deception Assassin, although in duel of the fates he kinda looks like a Sentinel with a saber staff

Count Dooku: Lightning Sorcerer

Shaak Ti: Focus Guardian

I don't know enough about the non-force wielding classes to try anyone like Han Solo or Chewbacca.

Does anybody else think that Qui-Gonn Jinn might be more of a sage than a guardian? I had an argument with my brothers about what he would be, I can't really remember my own reasoning on the subject (and i know the jedi knights introspection is based of jinn but still) but it seems to fit for me :D

this guy completely beat me to it with yoda and windu being sents. In the time of yoda and windu, dual wielding was rare because it wasn't a time of war, until the clone wars suddenly happened outa nowhere, so there was no need to train for such an aggressive technique. In the old republic era, jedi and sith are training their weapon masters to be more aggressive (i.e. dual wielding) because theirs been a war going on for i dont even know how many years and their rebuilding their ranks

Pfeh. I'd interpreted the question as "What would the character play to blow off steam or as a change of pace?" rather than just another round of "What game mechanic best fits the character as depicted?"

So in that light...

Anakin Skywalker (pre-RotS): Gunslinger

Darth Vader (post-Mustafar): Jedi Sage (healing)

Palpatine: Scoundrel

Han Solo: Jedi Shadow (and keeps it hidden from Leia at all costs)

Leia: Bounty Hunter (seems she had quite a bit of fun infiltrating Jabba's palace...)

Chewbacca: Jedi Consular (just so he can abuse Qyzen.)

C-3P0: Bounty Hunter (he has a crush on Scorpio)

R2-D2: Jedi Knight (wants to live vicariously through T7)

i think your right as he seem more diplomatic than out right fighter, however his healing skills were simply lacking on naboo :D

Windu: Guardian

Yoda: Consular (either AC)

Anakin: Guardian - Juggernaut

Obi-Wan: Guardian

Cin Drallig: One-saber Sentinel

Serra Ketto: Sentinel

Starkiller: Sorcerer/One-saber Marauder

Exar Kunn: Assassin

Ulic Qel-Droma: One-saber Marauder

Revan: Every Force-using class in the game rolled into one

Tyrannus: Sorcerer with some close range

Solo: Scoundrel

Leia: Sage

Luke: Guardian

Windu uses Vaapad, not Juyo
