Nihilius and and the Emperor use a similar technique, the difference is that the Emperor doesn't just break your bond with the Force and feed off death, he eats YOU. So I'd go with Nihilus stalemating the Emperor while Revan and Scion cut him down. Malak wouldn't really be needed. And Traya probably plans the whole thing
