I think that if you go light side, you can just let her go or take her into custody.
Not sure, I always lose that roll.
This is true after selecting the LS option to let her go. You get a second set of DS & LS choices.
DS: Take her in for Interrogation.
LS: Actually let her go.
I don't see this very often because I usually choose to force push her off the balcony
