That's probably because it isn't (just) a tier 3 crate drop. I got one out of a tier 1 crate. Problem is I'm on Ebon Hawk.

I had the same problem. Once the Windows Update was done I've been getting "Program has stopped responding" error intermittenly. I can usually close / terminate the program and relaunch it and then it works. I've noticed it happens if I dive right into the app on booting. Waiting a bit seems to help. Still would like to know what is causing it.

Greetings, I've been asked to post a quick note to the community about my experience thus far in the PAX application process. I had read the previous posts in this thread, before deciding to sign up, so I knew this was coming... The folks I've met so far are cool. Joining a new community (of any type) can be daunting, but just hanging out in TS the last week has been fun and a great opportunity to get to know some PAX folks. The questions I've been asked run the gamete, from silly to serious, but all have a purpose. Honestly, the biggest annoyance for me, is that there has been more stuff going on than I have time to do. Ops, World boss runs, even folks leveling alts. I don't know if my app will ultimately be accepted, but I do know that, regardless of the result, I feel the process PAX uses is straight forward and fair. Which is kinda refreshing... tl;dr - I've found that the process really is "as advertised"

Possible? Yes. Probable? No. I base this opinion on the fact that the only time new items were added to other skills (e.g. Armormech) was when RotHC dropped which had a level cap increase. I hope to be proven wrong.

FWIW, My guess is the fact that F2Ps can use CCs to unlock content (Operations) meant that EA had to treat it like software. So, while CCs could be used for virtual items (e.g. Valiant Jedi Armor) which would not be taxable, the fact that CCs could also be use to access content (temp license DLC software?) meant they had to assume it was taxable. Which means subscribers (who already have access to all content) are being taxed for a scenario they will never use....Unless they go F2P for a month and buy a unlock for a weekend.... which convinces them to subscribe again and then.. under which status were these coins bought, sir? EA Lawyer - "Heck with it, just tax em all." (From orbit, only way to be safe)

Lex, I think it comes down to EA decision to declare CCs software, or at least not currency or virtual items, within the last 10 months. It's possible EA got a new Corporate lawyer who held a different view for the previous one, perhaps some new rulings came down that they felt created precedence and required a reclassification. Still I think it would have been nice for them to let players know about the change in policy they had..

I think the EA lawyers are assuming CC's are not "in game currency." If they declare the SWTOR "in game currency" to be intergalactic credits, they can declare CC's something else, and therefore subject to taxes. Yes, I can use CCs to buy things I then sell on the GTN, but that second step is not required so... Yeah It's weasel-like, but probably strong enough to pass court review. As for why they just started this... yeah not touching that one...

Sorry if this has been asked before Should I give T7 Commando or Reflex armoring? He's a ranged tank so, i'd think Commando wins, but I'm not sure if the "primary stat" feature in the Companion code trumps the End> everything of basic tanking rule. I would assume this answer would be the same for Might vs Guardian armoring on Scourge...

I'll echo the suggestions / concerns that VGs "seem" to be less able to mitigate damage than the other tanks classes, at least according to parses [or other data we can give them to back up the statement] What, if any tweaks to the Shield spec do you, the Devs have in store? This may be rolled up into "The top of the VG trees seem to not have abilities powerful enough compared to Hybrids. Would you agree, and, if not, what are we missing?"

RE is a lot more RNG these days. I've RE 20+ items before getting a blue.

I have the reusable, so it can be done. Check your Biochem recipe list and make sure you don't already have it (for some reason), next pull one off the stack in your inventory and see if it gives a different RE result. Failing that, put a ticket in about it.
