they really are. i started playing during 1.4 and made a pyro for my first class (before i knew how good they were). pvped hardcore til 2.0 and all of a sudden...USELESS. since then i've leveled three others to 55 and none just feel the same. PT's NEED something. surprised i even see them in game still.

i quit right after 2.0 came out. came back and decided to play my tankasin, only ever played deception before, but darkness sounded fun. now i freaking love it. i've heard dps gear is what you want but which offhand? i would assume the shield, but hey, this is SWTOR. if it is the shield, do i get the generators mods in the shield or leave it as is? thanks in advance!

My powertech is still my favorite personally. But the nerf makes it useless. They would be OP if they had as many defensive abilities and gap closers (its on a 45 sec? CD), then yes. But no, we had a dinky little shield and a useless kolto probe. My only survivability was killing my attackers. They got rid of that to make a totally useless class. Anythingit can do another class can do better.

I actually did this on my jugg. I got recruit gear from the outlaw den chests scattered about. Did the daily, did not get my XP, then accepted in a WZ and dinged 50 there. Was quite a bit of fun haha

Scared to actually PvP where you need some sort of skill? Twinks are a joke.

I have both, have levelled with both from 10-50 with pvp. The jugg's only viable build is smash. Please don't do that! But obvious good damage and survivability. However very boring. I love my pyro PT, amazing damage but the survivability is not that of a jugg, you're best bet is to just kill them. I have a ton more fun on my PT and put around the same damage.

Nope. On my PT if i go to pull someone and they LoS me, i pull them into the wall, wasting my pull.

If you want to DPS, go powertech in the pyro tree.
