You know, it's probably silly, but I honestly feel like the devs really ARE punking pvpers. After all that has happened (and hasn't happened), it's the only thing that makes sense. That's obviously a conspiracy theory, but it's just as useful as expecting anything to change.
Nothing will change. After the pvp population left the first time, it became pretty clear that they wouldn't be wasting any time trying to keep the remaining players (hell, those players would obviously sub either way). I think Eaware has thoroughly proven that they don't know much about pvp. In fact, proving this seems to be what they focus most of their time on...aside from the cartel market.
It's useless to pretend it could be different. It won't be. Generally speaking, this is by far the worst run mmo I have ever played. It is a fun game - in spite of the devs, not because of them.
Unless another round of firings happen, I see no reason to expect anything is going to change.
