  1. 1) Target Forwarding - if I target the tank, and throw a heal it heals, if I throw damage it damages the tanks target. 2) Ready Check - seems simple but it makes it easier for everyone to get going at the same time, a simple system for someone to either hit ready or not ready with a light or some other indication to let the Operations Leader (only) know if people are ready or not. 3) Raid Assist Targeting - Also very useful tool. basically a overlay screen that can be enabled or not by the Operations Leader, usually used for the whole group to see not only the assigned members health (usually the tank) but also their Targets health. This helps when trying to DPS 2 (or more) separate targets which need to die at the same time. It is also useful if you just have more than one tank, (i.e. if you are having to switch tanks for a buff or some other mechanic). 4) More side content - Think LOTRO deed system or Faction Rep, etc...
  2. +1 for AOE threat gen However I think it would make more sense to add threat generation to another AOE skill that doesn't do damage (AWE - I am looking at you here) this way it would avoid breaking CC'd targets and it would act as Aggro Gen as opposed to Snap Aggro. Rather than lowering the CD on Challenge which is a Snap Aggro, I want Aggro Gen. +1 for Force Pull I am ok with loosing Force Push (which always made no sense to me as a tank, I want mobs closer, not further away), in favor of Force Pull which would greatly add to the Guardians ability to manage the aggro of a fight. Force Push could be like a counter point to Rescue. As a Guardian it would make more sense to push allies out of the way of danger (lowering their threat or increasing ours) you could even change the name to "in harms way". Just my 2c Gab
  3. Has anyone noticed any difference in this fight since 1.2? Thanks. Gab
  4. They should have given everyone currently sub'd at the time of 1.2, a free month. They only serve to divide the community by not giving it to everyone. As for those that cancelled. TFB. they should have stayed longer. They didn't, their loss. Just my 2c
  5. L2P doesn't say anything at all. I mean its not even a comment. Its like if all I said was. Be compassionate. You obviously can't because your motivation is only to shout pejoratives. There is nothing in it for you to help as far as a benifit. So you instead add nothing to the conversation by trying only to put someone down. Maybe you should L2STFU? especially if the only thing you have to say is pointless and negative. Now with your next comment we will see just how right you will prove my argument. Either : A) you will see that your not helping and learn to help by either leaving or offering assistance. Or B) you will comment something irrelevant and inane and prove that by just posting L2P or L2STFU you are not working to better yourself. While I openly admit the contradiction within my arguement I can only offer in my defense that it was necessary to achieve my initial point. A fact I have faith will get lost in the continuing posts.
  6. thanks I am off to bed, but I will ready in the morning. Thanks again! Gab
  7. thank you for the well thought advice. Its nice not to be trolled immediately. Thank you. /bow you also reminded me of something else, there doesn't appear to be a definitive list of which HM FP's are easy and which ones are hard. For instance I would agree that False Emperor is easy, however Esseles continues to keep us down. All the same, thank you for the advice. Gab
  8. Was watching this video and I noticed that at 4:57 when the enrage timer hits until 5:27, this group stays alive w/o a wipe. What this means is that for 30 seconds this group continues to hack away with the boss enraged. Anyone wanna tell me how this is even possible? My groups crumble within 5 seconds let alone 30. Thanks in advance. Gab
  9. My Guild just started doing HM FP's. And I am trying to figure out what we as a guild can do to be more effective. Like so many other people, our guild continues to hit the Enrage Timer Wall, regardless of how well we are doing up to that point in the fight. While some players have better armor than others, all have the highest damage dealing damage it is possible to get outside of drops from the instances we are trying to accomplish. (i.e. the hilts and barrels from the dailies) In other words, it would appear that the only way to get through the HM FP's is to already have the gear from those same HM FP's. (catch 22) It would appear that the only other way to deal enough damage to win the Enrage Timer sprint would be to PvP. But it then seems like BW has set the game up so that if you don't PvP you wont have enough DPS to survive Enrage. Any Thoughts? Thanks in advance Gab
  10. Guess I am answering to you now instead of getting my point across to BW. Your OP was indicative of a trend within SWTOR. Rather than address your post directly I addressed what I perceived as the actually issue. But if you cant see the connection, then I cant see it for you.
  11. MoN is a ghost town. Rep @ high point is <50. Imp @ high point is <125. Cant recruit, cant get ppl to join FP. PvP is a joke. PvP is basically 8 BattleMaster Imps against 6 greased up monkies and a football. Wait now its 5, no now its 4. OK WZ timed out, gonna requeue just to get pwnd again.
  12. there is no such thing in place on MoN. And I would be in favor of a global server chat even if the chat was limited to faction.
  13. Poor Communication is better than none. Yes ppl wanted lower server queues. Why wouldn't they? In the end what players want is to play the game. Given that presupposition waiting in a queue to log in, or logging in to a server only to have no one to play with, that is if we accept the notion that this game was supposed to be a multiplayer game in the first place, does not fall under the category of playing the game. Yes ppl screamed to the heavens about load time initially. Yes BW over compensated. Now, they just need to put it back. Sounds to me like the only real issue is pride. And while I will be the first to admit that maybe the playing population was too vocal about login queues, it doesnt change the fact that ALL of the power to make ANY change to SWTOR lies solely in the hands of BW and NOT the playing community. (which is now vocal about something worse than too many ppl, that is to say too few.) But thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.
  14. At this rate, I would take anything to make the game feel like its not such a ghost town. Some posters are waving the "it a new game give it time". problem is, it doesnt matter how much time I give it, new players arent attracted by ghost towns. MMO includes the word Multiplayer. And with server pops so low, the game will fall on its own sword long before any of us get the chance to say good bye. Bioware. Swallow your pride. You can still right this ship. Save SWTOR. I love this game, but I wont play it alone forever.
  15. the servers were overloaded upon release. BW over corrected in an attempt to lower que times. Now that all the free month players are gone, we need server merge to keep population density within acceptable limits. Right now, MoN is a ghost town with a 3:1 imp to rep ratio. PvP is a joke, usually 6 on 8 getting owned by Sith Battlemasters, and not enough population to recruit. Bioware, swallow your pride. Server Merge, or allow free character transfers ala Rift, or face extinction.
