  1. I asked this question once and was told that Assassin tanks at one point used strength (sounds kinda mental I know) so we *used* to have a shield, but now don't. Hopefully we get one added soon.
  2. Grapple and forcepull also count as a knockback, and make it a lot easier to position him too.
  3. FYI, closing abilities like Force Pull and Grapple/Harpoon count as a knockback. And guess what, all tanks have an ability like that. So have one knockback DPS run down to the ledge with the tank, have the tank grapple Malgus to the edge, then punt him off. It's not a difficult mechanic, and it's doable with any given composition of flashpoint, it just requires some coordination rather than "immah spam knockbacks and see what happens."
  4. To support the OP, the boss does indeed sometimes bug and the cannons stop working, I smacked 6 shots into the ship once and it just laughed at me. You have to do a hard reset on the boss by just engaging him an wiping without using any of the guns to un-bug the ship, after that it's killable using the standard tactics.
  5. This boss isn't overtuned at all, I ran this one as my first ever heroic with a load of freshly dung 50s, you just need to pay attention to his abilities. In addition to the little shield he puts up, he also gets a shield droid, if you smack him when he has that up, he'll smack you right back and one shot you. He's not randomly changing targets, they're just triggering his retaliate due to the shield droid. Me and my buddies will be posting video guides for all of the heroic FPs over the next week or two, but none of the heroic FP bosses are overtuned.
  6. Slicers are also a source of augments too, so they can still contribute to gear progression, as well as put augments on the GTN for money.
  7. Sometimes when you're moving from one grade of materials to the other, and you're juussttt on the border for the higher grade of materials, you won't get any missions for that grade because you might only have the level to get say one or two missions for grade 3 materials. In this case, just run some more grade 2 missions to boost your level and to re-roll the available missions.
  8. Hey guys, Posting these up for my buddy Raen because he's too busy with early access to do it and he's asked me to do it for him until he gets back. Basically he's planning to make video guides for the FPs and Ops in SWTOR, and he's got a few made already from the beta. That being said, these videos can also be considered to be a beta, and are more of a proof of concept rather than the finished product, so expect future videos to be much snazzier. Introduction to the guides. Guide to the Esseles Guide to Hammer Station If you like them or have any feedback to give, comment on the videos and subscribe. Cheers guys!
