Does anyone else have any opinions on this matter about the operative or sniper?

Seeing as how operatives are melee, does that mean that I'll never get to play any operations?

So, continuing with my *ahem* role playing as MLP in swtor despite how strange it sounds, I now wish to make an operative. I have narrowed it down to Rarity and Fluttershy. Which one do you think would fit which role and why? The following is just my personal opinion on things. Now, people could say Rarity is most likely not an operative because she prefers to be at a distance, but here's the thing. People seem to be saying that if she was in D & D, she would be a rogue. However; rogues, If I'm not mistaken, need to get up close to their enemies which she would not do, thus she would most likely be a sniper. Now, Fluttershy on the other hand can go either way, sniper or operative. Reason being is she would also prefer to be out of sight of enemies. Now, I'm going to bet on stealth because not only can one disappear, but once at a safe distance, one would just bring themselves out of stealth. If sniper on the other hand, she would concern herself with bringing her target down before it even reached her. I don't know, which one for which? Do I make Fluttershy or Rarity an operative even though operative is the last class, Rarity would want to be?

lol, well of course he may not take it well that Howard dies off, but it's fanfiction and it's hard to get certain people to understand it, lol. Also, on another note: Ben told Luke that Anakin had died, but he wasn't really dead. He was Darth Vader, lol

hey thanks! I've watched reruns multiple times. I basically watch it to see Bernie(In a good way I mean) uh, nevermind. As to my story, it basically is after she has her baby and apparently one or more people with a criminal background kidnap and murder Howard. Her kid's fate is unknown; either captured, killed, or just ran away on his/her own. No matter the case, the murder of her husband and the unknown whereabouts of her kid sends her into a rage and she gets this "Me against the world mentality" She just has decided to be a hunter hoping one day she will get the chance to have her revenge.

So, you know the episode on the big bang theory where they are all playing this game and they show Bernadette as a Sith. I"ve always thought of her more of a bounty hunter type character seeing as how she doesn't like taking orders or being told what to do. I"ve had this story idea that she is a bounty hunter and she's taken a "turn" to the darkside. Here's something else: I don't know what advanced class she would be. For some reason, I've always pictured her as a PT, obsessed with fire(Maybe that's just her attitude, but who knows?) she could also be obsessed with missiles, but the only evidence for that would be in that one episode where she and Howard are arguing about "missiles" Anyway, anyone who might be a bigger fan of the show or know more about her personality then me, could you please maybe tell me what you think?

I agree with you on Rarity being a sniper. I would also think so. I saw a cartoon that someone drew and it shows Rarity backstabbing a solider, so I'm wondering if she could also be an operative, although a sniper has access to Shiv and Deliberate, sorry if I spelled it wrong; also you can only get backstab as an operative if I'm not mistaken, but being far away is Rarity's specialty. If Rarity had any kids, would they be snipers or could they roll either way. I know for a fact that some children follow n the footsteps of the parent, but some are the complete opposite of them as well. Also, since I'm a guy, I don't really have any female characters, just males.

Hello again everyone! It's me; here to ask yet another question about roleplaying mlp in the swtor world. This one deals with the agent. Which one of the mane six would most likely be a spy? Now, I know that it's possible for all of them to be a spy, but I'm wondering what characteristics they have that would classify them as spy material, perhaps even if it's just their "charm." Also, would you be to take your best guess as to which one of the two advanced classes that they would take? If you're also able to, could you also make a case as to why they would also take the advanced class that you didn't mention if you think that they would? Lastly, would you all be able to tell me what advanced class for the agent that you yourself are thinking of playing, have played, or just the one that is your favorite?

Funny you should say that. The only time I'm able to picture her as a cyborg or at least with a cyborg eye is when I hear the song: I am machine by three days grace. I guess if there were no other choices left I could, but I want to try to get her character down as accurate or almost accurate as possible.

If she was a species in this game, would it be mostly a twi'lek or togruta? At first I tried making a twi'lek, but there is no purple for them, but heard there was a purple option for togruta. If more twi'lek, should I wait until Bioware decides to make a purple twi'lek or should I just spend 600 cartel coins to get togruta since they already have a purple color for them?

Thanks for your answer! I had a sneaking suspicion that she might be a scoundrel. She does enjoy disappearing and reappearing. First time, I made her as a gunslinger because someone said that she usually does "whatever the heck she wants" but I think I'm going to delete my gunslinger and make a scoundrel.

Okay, before anyone decides to burst out laughing and not take me seriously; I would like to say that I have brought up one thread like this before on a bounty hunter. So, when I first was trying to make her a smuggler, I went gunslinger because you can have double pistols and still be able to kick your enemies at melee range. However, going off her character and everything, I doubt she would really enjoy always taking cover and shooting things at a distance; she enjoys popping in and out of places(stealth) and punching things, so it would seem a valid choice to make her a scoundrel, but before I know for sure, I want to explain that 1. I know scoundrels can be good at endgame content, however, I hear that they are not that good at operations and people are more likely going to choose people who have gunslingers vs scoundrels. 2. Also, I want to do well in pvp. When I had my gunslinger in pvp, I did surprisingly well despite breaking the rule about keeping your distance. Sure, I did die far more then I would have liked to, but I was still able to hold my own. Based on everything: story, abilities, pvp, operations, and her(Pinkie's character) do you think it's more suitable to go down the path of a scoundrel or should I stay as a gunslinger?

Hello there. I know that there are many threads regarding this, but I want to make one now and was wondering if anyone could help me out. So, just as many people, I am getting constantly disconnected when I'm playing the game. One day, I'll be able to be on for about 5 minutes before getting DC and then other times, I will be able to be on for a half hour before it happens. Several times I have unplugged my wireless router, waiting 5 minutes, and then re plugging it in and sometimes it will allow me not to get disconnected anywhere from 10 minutes up to, if I'm lucky, a half hour or longer before experiencing it again. When I first started this game, I would be able to play it until I quit and I never had any dc issues at all. I have cox communications as my ISP. When I called in to tell them about my issue and asked if anyone else called them about the issue, a woman told me that they have never heard about this before which I don't really believe because while not really a lot of people have Cox as an ISP, I am guessing that some do and I'm guessing that a couple of those people might be playing swtor same as me. Now, as for really technical stuff on computers, that's not my area of expertise, but I am an expert on other things about computers. My question is: Is there anything else that perhaps I can do in order to try to make the DCs to quit? I've even heard that this might be a Bioware/EA issue that the are "supposedly" looking into. Is there something I can do or am I going to have to wait for Bioware to fix this, if they even decide to get to it?

oh, I Know that, but I was just wondering if it had something to do with a dragon because some people say that it does, but the guy who wears it originally said it was for a serpent/snake, so I don't know if that's another word for dragon or not.
