  1. The Ancient Sith Lord Warblade being mounted on the hip is a good start, I'm going to lead with that. However, I really must request that at least some other vibroblades be hip-mounted. The Ancient Force Imbued weapon, for example, really ought to be. The ancient Jed'aii (and Jedi/Sith in general) are explicitly based on Samurai, with the obvious influence of a katana being in that item. In fact, if you look up the old art for the Force Wars of Tython, the groups that become the Jedi and the Sith are outright using katanas with glowing auras of force energy around them. It looks ridiculous moving and fighting with these weapons mounted on the shoulder rather than being drawn from the hip. Twon-handed weapons, fine. Even if they clip badly, having a lightpike or a cathar warstaff on the characters back only makes sense, but there is a reason drawing long-bladed weapons non-polearm weapons (anything longer than a large dagger or shortsword) from the back never caught on. Its too long to draw it properly over the shoulder, unless your arms can extend One Piece style. And lets face it, the clipping is horrific. While we're at it, lets have more armor that gives you the option to have the hood down! So many awesome looking armors that force you to have a hood. I mean, its probably way to hard to have the characters hair inside the hood, for some reason, so at least let us not have the hood up at all!
  2. This happened to me, neither of the fixes in this thread worked. Trying to reinstall the game, we'll see if that works, but I will be salty as hell if that doesn't work.
  3. I have to agree with the OP. I adore strongholds, I have spent an ungodly amount of credits (and cartel coins, if I am to be honest) on decorations, strongholds, and stronghold expansions. I'm actively working on making a guild consisting of a 'main' and enough alts to allow me to form my own guild and gain a flagship expressly so I can decorate it. Strongholds and decorations are honestly the endgame for me. However, there aren't enough hooks. My Yavin IV stronghold is something I have been working on for years at this point, tweaking it as I unlock new decorations and new ones come out, based entirely around being a military base for a bi-factional organization. Mandalorians, Imperial and Republic Military, Sith and Jedi training one another in a quest for balance, Eternal Alliance soldiers present in small numbers (mostly because they are still a pain to gather, given they are only purchasable from Iokath rep vendor with Power Shards) with carefully places turrets, tanks, and mounts to make it look as close to an actual military base as possible. It is only 95% done right now, because I've removed a significant amount of decos to tweak a couple of rooms, but its a massive space for only 750 decos. I just bought alderaan, and despite having over 1000 hooks I have the feeling I will have the same problem there. For years, I've moaned in global/trade chat over the fact that you can't save decoration 'layouts'. I can't have multiple Yavin's saved, able to switch between them at the click of a button, which means I have to spend hours drawing crude diagrams with scrap paper to figure out how to a deco would look best in a room because if I clear that room, I have to manually put all the decos back and adjust their settings to get them how they were if the change looks aweful. I'm not a programmer, but this seems more than possible as a feature. I could keep going, but quite honestly I don't know that it will help. Instead, I will just say this: Strongholds, player housing in other words, are something that this game has that puts it far beyond other MMORPGs. WOW doesn't have any, ESO isn't all that impressive (in my opinion), and while FFXIV is fantastic, that game has HOUSES. Beautiful, with a small yard etc, but they are still just a single house. Strongholds are a great strength for SWTOR, but they can be stronger still
  4. I too am interested in the Imperial-side guild!
  5. What I would really like to see, and something I can't imagine would be too insanely difficult to implement, is the ability to save a room or even a whole stronghold's setup and decoration placements. That way, you could (for example) save your Dromuund Kaas decoration setup, go to Yavin Four and mess around with placement, and then go back to DK and put it all back without needing photographic memory and several hours of nitpicking! Sure, maybe you collect enough decorations to have multiple strongholds fully kitted out without it, but I dont and I cant be the only one. Besides, what about things like the Rishi Idol, where you can only get a limited number of them? You cant collect 999 of those to spam all over multiple SHs!
  6. To be honest, I am going to stop playing this game soon if the fanbase doesn't start to get a little love. I love everything Bioware has done, up until recent stuff. Dragon Age 2 was good, but not fantastic, I dunno who came up with the end of Mass Effect 3, but I don't even want to think about it now. Now we can't even transfer off of dead-end servers? I mean, if I am lucky, on my home server, Prophecy of the Five, I am lucky if there are 50-75 people on either fleet at peak time on the weekend. You want to try and do an Ops or a Flashpoint? Ha! Doesn't heppen. Galactic Trade Network? Negligible! I mean, even if it will be a little while, at least have the decency to give us SOME SORT OF INFORMATION other than "We're thinking about it." Even if it won't be for a month or so, tell us and those of us who want to transfer can come back then!
