  1. Dear Devs, While I love SWTOR, and it is my go-to MMO game, I am extremely frustrated as I have reported a bug numerous times, as well as spoken to customer support numerous times, and yet the issue is still unresolved. I know this bug is not common, but I know that it has happened to some based on users reporting in community threads and on YouTube. Here are the details: Basically, in Nathema Conspiracy, While this does not impede my completion of the flashpoint - as far as I know, because I quit every time I see the error - I do not wish for a permanent story choice to be made on the character that I have spent countless hours on since the game's release. Most people have ignored the error and moved on, but I am still holding out hope that it will be addressed soon. I have been assured that the dev team is aware of this issue by customer support, but I have not been able to extract a timeframe for a fix from anyone at EA. If this issue will never be resolved, I would like to at least be informed privately, so I can just push through the continuity error and resign myself to the fact that I cannot make meaningful choices in the game, as advertised. However, if it will be fixed, I will continue to wait patiently until that is resolved, and play different characters than my main until then. This is, of course, frustrating, as I would like to play the new content at some point. I would be grateful if I could get some personal attention to this matter, as I am tired of writing repeatedly with no clear answer. I have been a subscriber since launch, and I participated in the beta, and so I hope you value my patronage thus far, and will address my issue. Thanks again for all your hard work on an otherwise fantastic game, however. I don't mean this criticism to outweigh the many positives that EA has brought to players like me. Sincerely, Icemaxx
  2. Cameo issue still present as of December 11, 2018. I confirmed through old screenshots that I in the original Sith Warrior storyline, and yet the game flag incorrectly spawns him into Nathema Conspiracy still. It's frustrating that the immersion is still broken for this quest, and a severe one that negates one of my most significant decisions in the game's story. I hope this gets fixed soon...
  3. Thank you! I have still been complaining about this bug on the forums and in game tickets. However, this exact situation is actually happening to my Sith Warrior, and so I keep getting . This is infuriating, and I also am not going to finish the quest until it is fixed. I heard there was supposed to be a recent patch that fixed this, but as of just now on December 11, 2018, my cameo for Nathema is still bugged. I did some research and allegedly it's a bug where the "flags" are incorrectly flipped between the endgame story choices. Seems like they could easily just switch it back so the next time I reset the quest (six times now I have tried) it actually works.
  4. Clearly you didn't read carefully.. I said I DID kill Baras, which means he shouldn't be showing up in my story. So yes, it is a bug.
  5. Dear SWTOR, I would like to report a grievous error in the new Nathema Conspiracy flashpoint. I , which is completely ruining the immersion and the countless hours I spent reaching this point. I believe others are having this issue as well, with the wrong characters showing up, so if you could please fix this I would be grateful. Until this is resolved I do not wish to proceed in the Flashpoint. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Max PS: I have seen others complain of this issue on YouTube and ingame, yet for some reason I haven't seen many posts about it. I also submitted a bug report ingame, but this is a really important issue I think should be fixed ASAP, as it would mean otherwise that our choices don't matter.
  6. /signed ***MINOR SPOILERS BELOW*** I would definitely like to see an expansion of each character's storyline, including additional dialogue from companions as they should develop along with one's character as well. I'm all about story, and SWTOR has implemented so much of it from the beginning I'd hate to see it become something more generalized /less personal. The reason I log so many hours is not just getting new gear but evolving my character through dialogue choices and any storyline/operation/flashpoint content. After all, the game "remembers" your past choices, and often in certain circumstances a player will have a new dialogue option to essentially say "hey, I remember you from ____ planet", or something to that effect. Perhaps not a big deal, but still a cool implementation in my opinion. Even the last flashpoint you have the option of saying you were once a Revanite if you did that quest way back on Dromund Kaas. Don't get me wrong, I think SWTOR has had the most in-depth storyline (in terms of length as well as cutscene and dialogue/voice acting) out of any MMO, and even most games, and I don't mind doing some planets/whatever that involve faction-only variations in storyline (saying that it is a larger galactic conflict is a brilliant way of describing their decision, by the way), as that is a feasible thing to happen (sometimes conflicts are less personal and involve all characters), but I definitely want specific character storylines to happen/come back as well. Certainly I can understand it would require a great deal of time and effort, but perhaps there would be some time to work on it after this latest release of "Shadow of Revan" - which I am definitely looking forward to, by the way - as we will be busy for quite a while. Anyway, SWTOR still remains one of my favorite games, so I am going to sign this in an effort to make my opinion known as well as vote for character storylines to return, but regardless I will definitely keep playing this game as it's always been fun for me.
  7. CZ-198 Application - Security Officer Dear Czerka Corporation, Here are my answers to the provided questionnaire: 1. Please tell us a little about yourself. Why do you want to be a part of the Czerka family? I am a sith warrior named Icemax, and I am currently the Emperor's Wrath. Basically my service to the Empire is fulfilled by crushing Republic scum and such, which would be useful in the security officer position I am applying for. When I am not doing this, I enjoy traveling across the galaxy. As to why I wish to be part of the Czerka family, I have long followed their history, and have admired their position as the head of galactic industry. In essence, a career with Czerka is certainly a lucrative one, yet I am also confident that it would be a mutually beneficial business relationship. 2. At Czerka, we pride ourselves on our accomplishments. Please name three of your accomplishments that you are most proud of. (Please do not include family milestones such as marriages or the birth of your children.) First: I have held a career in the legal field for two years after studying at university, which is no small accomplishment due to the complexity of the work, and with the job market being what it is in the galaxy. Second: I was recently caught in a violent earthquake that unfortunately killed a sizable amount of people, yet due to my quick thinking and calm countenance, I was able to emerge from the situation alive and unharmed. It was a true test as to what kind of man I am, and I am pleased to say that I am no coward. Third: Despite, or perhaps because I'm a sith, I find that creative talents such as art and writing to come somewhat easily to me. In particular, I had written a short story and submitted it in the literary magazine at my school, and to my delight, my story made the final cut. 3. How did you go about achieving the accomplishments above. Would you say you would do "whatever it takes" for success? This is a complicated question, which perhaps requires a complicated answer. I accomplish my goals by not giving up or giving in - some may call this stubbornness, but I like to think of it as determination and having pride in oneself. Now, if anyone happened to stand in the way of my goals, I would not hesitate to move through them like any other obstacle, but that does not necessarily mean that I am doing anything sinister to them. It is like lava flowing from a volcano - my success cannot be stopped, and it will overtake anyone and anything without prejudice. 4. Would you say you have a strong moral compass? Do you think this could get in the way of your job, should you be asked to do something...questionable? While as a youth I saw many things in black and white, as I have aged, and acquired the wisdom that comes with it, I have realized there are grey areas in everything. I have a strong sense of justice perhaps, but as to an actual set of moral principles? Perhaps not. In my sith career I have become more cynical and consequently nihilistic about life, and I find that morals are really just an imagined set of ideals that help a society have cohesion. Do the morals actually matter or accomplish anything? Likely not. So, despite my certain affectations of certain morals, there definitely aren't any that would get in the way of my job. 5. You are about to enjoy our wide variety of complimentary cocktails and snacks, when you notice that your esteemed colleague's newest experiment is likely to break out of their confines while you are gone. How would you handle this situation? As a security officer, I would first sound an alarm, and try to contain the experiment in its cage (?) while ensuring the rest of my team could provide backup as well as evacuating all personnel. Security is not only in charge of preventing any incursions from the outside, but maintaining a safe environment on the inside as well. While I would not intend any disrespect towards my colleague, or wish to undermine him/her, safety comes first and there would not be time to warn or confront them about the experiment. Quick thinking and tactics is often the most prudent solution to any potential problem. Sincerely, Icemax
