  1. I'm sure there are people in EA who know that is best for the customers and what makes them want to spend. If you have worked in a company where 3 company groups pull the strings on decisions all the time, you'll understand the quote "to many cooks spoil the soup". Add in shareholders and this social media forum/facebook/twitter thingy, and you basically are screwed left right centre bottom top etc. Its a no win situation unfortunately. Lets just vote with our wallets and not our mouths. If they do something we don't like, we don't pay and play simple. I mean, the amount of amazing things we can do with our time today is ridiculous... let alone this game with a 35 year old IP XD A monetization expert will do these things to churn mountains of money:- 1. Sell the white crystal 2. Sell flying mounts 3. Sell server transfers - by that I mean the whole legacy if needed 4. Sell cloths that don't look like u just dropped into a Taris sewer 5. Sell unlimited unlocks for weekly ops 6. Sell credits for money like GW2, and TOC legal too 7. Sell name change, and especially legacy name change 8. Sell better and unique buff potions 9. Sell plastic surgery for toons 10. Sell useful pets like Yoda and Jawas that actually buff you and the whole raid up This ain't brain surgery. It helps bring in money that keep investors happy and keep people hired. However, I do pity this guy who has to suggest these things to the devs... Good luck, and don't give up ur day job.
  2. Power is an illusion guys. Live with it! Its not a choice for you to make at your whims and opinions, its how the DRs for other atrributes playoff within the limitations of a gear tier level and its specific mods. You can only make this decision on balance once you have full 61 mod usage on every piece of gear, including bracers and belts. Some people at this level like 800 bonus damage and 23% crit rating, others like 500 bonus damage at 40% crit rating. it all balances out in the end. Pure stats don't decide your value and real raid output, your play style, rotations and tree configuration does.
  3. I don't understand this thread. Sure you can wear Esseles level 10 gear with BIS 61 mods since looks are independent of stats in this game design. However I agree that whoever came up with those BH/Campaign sets have lost the plot.
  4. "There is nothing to do at 50" LOL, u can't do anything until u hit 50
  5. ROLF why would anyone pay additional money for hand-me-downs? Campaign gear is so ugly as it is, you need to PAY people to wear them.
  6. This is the biggest crock I have read in a long time on this forum. Seriously, do u know how to play the SWTOR design or is this another copying and pasting from a WoW raid guide? 1. Sentinels gain focus by attacking weak mobs first (FP) 2. Sentinels will pull aggro irregardless of what you hope to believe of ur tanking uberness. That is why there is a 'Force Camoflague' threat dump button is available to this class. 3. Sentinels gain extra damage potential if attacked, and have an awesome range of damage mitigation buttons to survive this turn of events. Let me not go into how to play a tank in a group..geesh
  7. Well, if every class in this game decided that power (a secondary attribute) was better than their primary attribute then something is seriously wrong with the combat system. What we do know as best practice is that if a combat system causes confusion rather than clarity with the player base, BW as a collective thinktank didn't do a good job, or the person that designed this, wasn't exactly Einstein.
  8. Vanity gear sets without any mods but with set bonuses definitely worth a couple of hundred bucks per pop. This game seriously needs a qualified fashion designer.
  9. I want Yoda as a pet. With a shock collar for me torture him when I'm bored.
  10. Who forced u to play on prime time? The trick is to go into Nar Shaadaa when there is only 1 person there and ninja 1,000 smuggler crates in 30 mins.
  11. Guys.. strength is for PVE, expertise is for PVE.
  12. You didn't mention that you were referring to Combat sentinels specifically?
