If the item doesn’t have Endurance AND Willpower on it then that item’s for you. Secondary stats you should look for are Defense, Shield, and Absorption. While you’re leveling keep a balance between endurance and willpower with a lean towards endurance and adjust the balance according to your gameplay. Procs to look for, Energize and Harnessed Darkness. The codex has an entry for Maul but it says – “If you’re not WitherStab specialized, don’t use it at all.” Standard build isn’t the WitherStab build, so you won’t use Maul as a standard build. Also note that Maul isn't listed in the Priority List.
