  1. I prefer the Kreia outfit, minus the belt since it has a gold outline on it. Dyed black-black, obviously. It looks ALMOST like Nihilus' outfit from KOTOR. The dye puts the hue so close to the mask its almost unrecognizable.
  2. The problem with those particular rep tokens (prohibited medical supplies, banned holovids and confiscated artwork) is that the slot machine (which I'm presuming what spurred OP's post) gives out the tokens with higher frequency than the tokens used to acquire them cost. Therefore playing the slot machine is always a win-win. If the selling of rep tokens was removed and replaced with using them as tokens for buying decorations and other fluff, the in-game economy wouldn't be hurt as bad. Now, back to the OP's topic... I agree. The tokens would be a great way of minimizing the "damage" to the economy in-game. Buying decorations would be a great idea, but I suggest it go further with buying some exclusive decorations and gear shells obtainable only by turning in those rep tokens. Would be neat, for sure.
  3. I regularly spend my money made by selling crafts to put in NPCs. I have a dance class, a cantina with a bartender and a couple patrons, researchers scanning crystals and artifacts, a secretary by my bedroom/office and everything. Even have a busy market bazaar at the entrance to my NS Palace. It feels a lot less empty with the NPCs around. I'd just like to see MORE NPCs introduced. Preferrably without being in cartel packs.
  4. Armormech, Synthweaving and Armstech suffer from a lack of niche markets right now with the cartel market influences on their crafting. Colour crystals at least are yeah... Dime a dozen with the cartel market, but people PAY for NOT having them. Relics are also NOT available on the CM, so artifice ends up better off. Only tips I can give the others is to do prefabs and augments for cash. They move fairly quick and can make decent money if done right. I focus more away from prefabs on my main because its either one or the other on what I can make. If I do both, I can't maximize what I'm doing very well and its too many markets to watch . So, I leave them for those who wanna compete in a different market than I am. =D
  5. I've been making a killing with artifice since vanilla. I've been LAUGHED at over me being an artificer on my main. And now? They see my palace and they're jelly. Total win. 20 million credits+ invested in it (pre slot machine, fyi). Slot machine? Pah. It'll influence the crafting market for sure, and its poor timing with tne new tri-colour crystals, so the market is in real shock right now. Give it time and it'll even out and we all will find a new balance.
  6. Agreed! One Operation that drops the materials necessary is hurting the crafters in making these. PLEASE fix it! Have them drop in another op or in the FPs, or FIX IT.
  7. The elite comms vendor on the Imperial fleet (I haven't checked the Pub side) sells a Massassi Force-healer's MK-1 Motivator with DECIDEDLY lower stats than the Force-Lord's. Comparison: Massassi Force-healer's Mk-1 motivator 194 endurance 124 willpower 48 critical 111 alacrity Massassi Force-lord's Mk-1 System 276 endurance (+82 ! ) 241 willpower (+117 ! ) 96 power (+48 ! ) 111 surge (No difference) Clearly there was an issue in updating the gear for 3.0 or something. Good thing I compare stats before buying so I didn't buy the wrong one.
  8. So... Am I the only one who thinks that Treek might be speaking a bastardization of Japanese? I swear she's saying 私を旅に場 (Watashi wo tabi ni jou = Place me on a journey [Rough translation from Google Translate]) when she's put on a crew mission. Her alien-speech translation in-game is "This is not a legendary battle, but it will have to do." I may be still a novice in my Japanese, but it REALLY eerily sounds similar and I know George Lucas took inspiration from real-world languages for putting languages in the Star Wars universe for movies, etc. Your thoughts, or am I just going crazy?
  9. 5 second rule; Count to 5 before leaping in after the tank. It helps with pulling aggro straight away when dps'ing. I';ve had to do that on my Lethality Operative and Annihilation Marauder alot.
  10. It occurs to me that a lot of the main reason I don't enjoy pvp is the constant pugstomping by the same players, every. Single. Day. Every. Single. Match. I enjoy pvp, but I don't enjoy pvp when its so one-sided you just literally get in to wherever you go, then see a number of the various FotM pugstompers just show up in force, stunlock the crap out of you and you don't even get the CHANCE to play. "Oh, look. Its a healer. Juggs on her... NOW!" *Leap, smash, leap smash, leap, smash, leap smash... Dead* So... I got to thinking "How can we make it so that these players can't just walk all over everyone all the time and let others have a little bit of an edge?" Then it occured to me. WoW used a tenacity buff in its world pvp objectives for Wintergrasp and whatnot, but obviously having equal amounts of players isn't exactly the issue here, but maybe something like it would work? The idea goes as thus: Player wins a match, gets a debuff that decreases their damage output, increases damage received, reduces heals outgoing and incoming, etc. Perhaps 1-5% per stack, stacks infinitely until one of two conditions are met, in which case, the whole stack disappears: 1) 8 hours elapse, as that's the duration of the debuff. 2) You lose a warzone. The idea is so that these pugstompers that abuse the unranked warzone queues to just walk all over players get an increasingly harder match every match until they're so weakened by the debuff that they finally lose a match, making up those hard-fought losses by those poor pugs by having them weak enough numbers wise that the skill(FotM abuse) of the pugstompers is outweighed by the debuff, causing them to lose a warzone and lose their stacked debuff. Now, lemme put on my flame-proof Nomex suit and whatnot here *zzzzip* Ok. Yes, I know this is a little drastic and yes, not everyone is adept at wielding their pvpness. But it doesn't give an environment where people enjoy a facet of the game when they go into a warzone, find out they're on the wrong side of a pugstomp every match and stop playing. This has happened to so many of my friends on my server, I stopped doing pvp myself. I got sick of getting marked by the pvp guild and having 5 (yes, 5) lolsmashers fly in and smash simultaneously and kill me. Or have 4 scoundrels continually knockdown and stun me, interrupt every heal I can do and render me moot. Not much fun if you ask me when I come in and I'm targeted and killed before I can even get off a SINGLE heal, let alone ya know.. Fire off a stun, knockback, root, slow, maybe (god forbid) throw some dps and kill someone? Yes. I know I'm a healer and that gets me a big bulls-eye put on me, but its NOT fun to get smashed into oblivion all the time. That's why the idea of a stacking debuff. Don't want to get stacked up too much? Rotate your characters. Play nice and DON'T PUGSTOMP. Win a game, lose a game. Give-and-take, folks.
  11. There's an additional 2 ways around this: 1) Use greens/blues/purps you find just doing your levelling. She doesn't HAVE to use modded items. You can pull out the ones she's using atm and have her use non-moddable greens/whatever. 2) The quest rewards you get on the various planets (most times) have a moddable green droid part for your ship droid. Pick it, rip the mods out, slap em on Treek, et voila! Not the greatest thing since they have +def rating on them, but if you're using her for a tank anyway, not too shabby.
  12. He'll come back as cheesy as Darth Maul did, I'm sure.
  13. Heh. I hope someone from BW sees these posts and does something. My ignore list is getting a tad full and I don't really track which ones are bads and which ones are credit spammers. =/
  14. What would be really nice is if BW got smart and instead of banning them, simply muted them without any notice or notification to the offender. To them, it looks like they're still spamming their usual message, but to everyone else, its nice and quiet.
  15. As an artificer that primarily makes colour crystals and relics, those annoying grade-9 crystals I see as free vendor stuff. "Oh look, I got a couple of those useless crystals in that node. Oh well. *Revan statue* Gone. *Collects profit*." As for the +41s? BW has stated that they won't revisit colour crystal stats and the new tiers of gear since lvl 50 stuff have adjusted stats to compensate for the crystals only being +41. So... Not too shabby. I'd like more colour crystal colours so I can make even more credits. =D
