  1. Exactly, that's what many people here don't want to understand. Spotting a gunship is easy the first time you take a shot, and then even if you get one ship after you you can't shake them at all, and it's probably your doomfall unless a team mate helps you out, which doesn't happen frequently at all. Gunships should be able to at least escape scouts and strikers. I am not saying we should have the same firepower as them in close fight but have a fighting change of escaping. Because the first time you take a shot is very probable to be your last.

  4. I know how to use a GS, I normally get 4-6 kills, but the striker and scouts can get close to us really fast. Once they get close to us there is pretty much nothing we can do. But thanks for laughing at your own stupidity.

The 15000 m ability by gunships to fire is not enough. any scout, or strike fighter require at least 3 shots to be destroyed even charging completely the railgun, by the time you try to charge again for the second charge scouts and strike fighters are already on top of us, and there is simply nothing you can do to shake them off, so the gunships always lose. The range of gunships should either be increased or their damage output doubled. My gunship already has 3 additional mods just for the railgun and is still not enough, also have mods on shields. Against people who don't know what they are doing gunships are good, but against seasoned fighters the way gunships are set up they really are bad. Why was this done this way?
  6. I have been having a problem lately with the purple boxes at all levels. I keep getting legacy items which none of my toons can use any more. Have like 5-6 legacy leggings 3 main weapons and a second hand weapon box. the worse part is that I have had these drop in level 50 purple ancient storage boxes... I mean really, imo they should only appear once in a while in the lower level boxes, not on level 50 boxes. I might have gotten about 20-25 of these purple boxes and almost half the time....legacy item which we can't even sell to other players. Anybody else has had this problem?
  7. Now you are twisting everything around... My response was to cycao and/or others claiming that people who have any constructive criticism about WZs, trying to better the game for EVERYONE, should shut up or leave... That's clearly what you, cycao and others are saying... Not only that, but you are even belittling more our arguments by claiming "it is whinning"... If you have EVER given an opinion in this forum to better the game FOR EVERYONE then you must be a "whinner" too huh?... Or is this a case of when YOU do it is not "whinning" but everyone else who has a different opinion than you is?... So, let me get this straight... You don't want to have pre-mades against premades, and you want to keep premades against pugs left in the game?... That tells me you love to farm teams that are not evenly matched up and don't have the same advantages as your group. Hypocresy is on your court buddy.
  8. You should start by trying to write some sentences that make sense. WZs are not just about one person's skills since you are playing against 8 others and with 6-7 other players... The wrong group make up, or having completely new people in a pug who don't have, or don't use TS, or any other communication program, and don't know much about pvp influences the outcome of the WZs. It is naïve to try to claim that people who see a problem with pugs vs pre-made are "all just bad". I have fought against 2 opponents by myself and won, and have had two opponents kill me. Two good opponents can kill easily one good opponent, and an entire pre-made team can pretty much farm the entire opposite pug team most of the time... What it seems is that every one of you who keep trying to pound on me love to farm pugs instead of trying to listen to others.
  9. Really? you should check what the word "hypocritical" means. Nothing I wrote was hypocritical. I gave my opinion on what I see as a problem and added that what others were saying were also part of the problem.
  10. My opinion isn't based on knee-jerk reaction, but on having played the game since beta and having been on both sides of the fence. It's ironic that when people such as yourself and some others don't like someone's opinion you either start insulting those people, or you claim their opinions don't matter... There is such a thing as constructive criticism, insulting and belittling people's opinion is not constructive criticism, it is simply trolling.
  11. Really?... I stated clearly that everyone's opinion matter and the problem is probably in a combination of what people have been saying here.... I wasn't insulting players for giving opinions, and in case you are wondering insulting players is not an opinion, it is in the realm of jerkdom and trolling.
  12. First of all, I wasn't the one to use insults at anyone, never did I call "a fool" or "an idiot" or any of the numerous insults in this thread made by players like you... Second of all, in a pug one single person isn't responsible for the whole group, and one lonely player is not going to win against 8 in the opposing team, so "personal accountability" has NOTHING to do with WZs since we don't have any say on who do we play with plain and simple. Third of all, just because Bioware doesn't say they see a problem doesn't mean there isn't one. That's why players give their opinions and what we think we see as problems. If you don't like players giving their opinions then probably you shouldn't be reading the forums and shouldn't post at all. So just play all you want and don't respond at all... Since you seem to think that players who according to you " only complain" and you think those players don't belong in the game, then you don't belong in the forums. How do you like them apples?

If everyone who saw a problem in the WZs or the game in general did what you "want them" to do then you can be sure that the few of you that remain will not be able to keep SWTOR up an running and it would have to close within 3 months due to not enough funds... But hey, there is always the person, or people, who think only their opinions matter and only they should be listened to huh?...
  14. Was giving my opinion on what I think is wrong, and never did I write that it was the only problem, but it is what I have noticed. Other players have been giving some good advice as well, as long as they didn't decide instead to insult those of us who have a different opinion than these "leet" players... Maybe a middle ground can be reached were pre-mades are only put together with opposing pre-mades, while pugs will only be put together with pugs. I saw some other member give an excellent idea about putting ingame VOIP so at least everyone will be able to communicate easily, but that still doesn't solve the problem of pre-mades being put against pugs. Some seem to think that "the problem is only this, or is only that" when most probably the problem is more than just one thing. It is in part the "pre-made vs pugs", the "TS vs no TS and no in-game VOIP", the class imbalance, etc. Just taking care of one thing is not going to bring balance to the WZs and pvp in general. I do have notice the class imbalance as well where some classes have a lot of advantages in WZs such as just some classes being able to pull the friend with the huttball close to the goal, or snipers being able to stun every few secs completely invisible and not being able to find them at all, etc. But I also think this class inbalance can be solved in part by not putting pugs vs premades because in the premades there will always be at least 2 healers, a class that can pull the friend with the huttball etc, while in a pug the chance of that happening is much lower.
  15. I am not sure if this belongs here, but I am guessing it is also happening to others in this server. Been experiencing a lot of disconnects, saying error 9000. I check my internet connection and every time the connection is excellent. When logging in and playing other games I don't get any lag at all, so I am sure it is not my end. This is not the first time, it's been happening for about 2 weeks 2-3 days a week and it's getting tiresome. What I have noticed is that it happens most often at around eastern time 6 pm -11 pm or so, so I am guessing it might be because there are too many people, f2p playing. Most of the time I have to wait until about 12pm to be able to play because every minute or so the client kicks me to server selection between 6pm - 11 pm est.
