  1. Well this is all nice and dandy for the sorcs/sages out there. A welcome change. But i can't help wonder; how about balance/madness shadows/assassins? Can we get a comment from a dev on this? What are the intentions with this spec? It's been crap since 2.0 compared to sorc/sage version and it looks like the gap is increasing even more.
  2. Tactics defences: 30% DR while stunned. 30% AoE DR. Reflexive Shield. Assault defences: 30% DR for 8 sec while adrenaline fueled is active (about 90 sec CD). 25% Melee/Ranged defence for 6 sec (45 sec CD). Ya, tactics got better innate defences.
  3. I play Tactics in RWZ Arena with great success. Full 8/31/2 build with Combat Tech set. It's viable as long as u have a descent second dps on the team. Assault is viable tho it lacks the innate defences that Tactics get, damage is fine if you know what you're doing (and know what to pewpew at). Both Tactics and Assault brings alot of utility to the table, in slightly different ways. Try both specs and see which you enjoy the most (que regs with some buddies and coordinate when trying, going solo Conan-style doesnt really show the possibilities with each spec). GL!
  4. Give Commandos/Mercs a passive skill which makes it possible to cast abilities while on the move. Always. Pros -Increased survivability (kite - cast, kite - cast!). -Increased damage while on the move. -It's Commando/Merc exclusive (Crazy thought huh?). -It's gonna look bad-***. -Commando/Merc healers will have an easier time keeping up. Trade-offs -Damage/Heals stays where it is (Fine by me, even with 2.0). -Still interruptible (fair in my opinion). I admitt there's gonna have to be some tweaking here and there but still, Commandos/Mercs need this kind of skill to be competitive as it is. The discussion about interrupt immunity during hold the line and lower cooldown on this and that are cool ideas but merely band-aids. I know it's been mentioned before but hey, why not? Commandos/Mercs are in a bad position as it is both on Live and PTS. Throw us a bone (or Corpse in this case) Bioware!
  5. Like I wrote in the Feedback-thread on the PTS-forum and several other players have tried to bring forth: Commandos doesn't have any clear purpose team-wise in competitive forms of PvP. Sure, we can hide in a corner or hump pillars trying to get our interruptible, proc-depending casts off. The fact still remains that Gunslingers can do pretty much everything Commandos can do, and do i way better. Commandos need a unique skill that supports the team and makes us wanted for Ranked PvP. The survivability is there as 2.0 stands. With Hold the Line and Electro Net (too long cooldown) we've been given our so long desired escapes, no more taking a smash to the face every time a melee-class leaps us.
  6. Bioware must have gotten some inspiration from Taugrim stat-wise looking at both the War Hero-combat tech set and the War Hero boltblaster-implants/ear. It's plain made for the Iron Fist spec!
