  1. well this is not a QQ post.. but i will say that going from 16k HP to 0 HP in 3 hits is a bit of a bummer.. im a sorc.. and i understand the bubble/sprint/CC arguements...but when im in full BM gear, and im hitting with my hardest skill which is chain Lightning w/ wrath proc (20% extra damage) and spec'd into having extra aoe damage (which also gives more damage to chain lightning) and im hitting for a max of 3.2k damage...on top of that it has a nasty cooldown + GCD . my lighnting strike hitting for 2.5k damage and shock hitting for 2.7k...i feel out damage by more than a few classes... and im not asking to be the best Damage dealer, or having the best ability to survive...but a nice balance in damage across certain classes would be nice...funny when you see a person in full Rakata gear living longer and doing insane damage in pvp vs a person in full BM gear lol... sad though they are taking away chain lightning working with the wrath proc...but nice that they are finally fixing Crushing darkness to work with the wrath proc..it might actually make madness spec a viable dot spec...i just wish they would make every classes 31 talent worth something... funny how my best dot does not come from my 31 talent.. and my best lightning skill does not come from my 31 talent. and bioware made me rofl when they said, "we didnt anticipate people going hybrid so much!" lolol and ROFL.
  2. My brother and i were talking about this subject the other day....here is what we thought of. Create a special slot for Miraluka/cyborg to allow for different eye cover looks/cybernetic implant looks. make them a drop from world,flashpoints (a little more fancy), operations (even more fancy). this idea can actually be implemented across most races. Twi'lek = lekku decoration/fashion Zabrak = head spike fashions just to name a couple more... this idea would also stimulate the economy cause these should not be a craftable items... instead vanity drops...if you want fashion people.... pay for it!!
  3. Post your ideas here aswell, but here is my idea..which is not totally original since a show use to kindof do this. Think of watching two Droids rip each other to shreds..break one another... i would like to see a mini-game like that. two or more droids battling it out to claim victory! to make this fair to people just starting to play this mini-game. Droid parts are to be bought with credits and all the parts cost the same in each category (which i will list below) This would also create a credit sink. Also; this way nobody can complain about some parts they cant unlock which makes everybody else better than them! So it's fun! so some suggestions would be nice in this department. (real suggestions please trololol) Parts Categories: 1. Weapons(flamethrower, spikes, saws, hammers, laser??, plasma cutter??, harpoons,etc etc) 2. Armor(light, medium, heavy)(armor type effects movement speed) 3. Locomotion(tracks, legs (2?4?legs),wheels, hovering, etc) 4. Shields??(energy shields to guard against fire, lightning, freezing, etc) 5. Boost?? (like increase speed or increase damage or increase agility, Defense??, etc etc) 6. Programming (combat tatics type (ranged, melee, hit and run?? etc etc)) 7. Vainity (glowing eyeballs(signs??) of different colors, logos, other fun stuff, etc etc Each type of locomotion can fight against its own class (wheels vs wheels) or fight different Locomotion droids (walkers vs tracks or any combination of each other) Some of you might think,"well a droid on wheels vs a hovering droid...not so fair", but think about... lasers "pew pew pew", which in return would make that hovering droid wish it had more agility to dodge those bolts! And of course the worst credit sink of all... your parts actually break and you have to replace them , or repair them. Arenas: 1. Have mechanics to automate hazards (like in huttball) examples: (Fire traps, goo pit, frozen ground, oil spills, fog, lightning, harpoon pull, etc etc) 2. Variable terrain examples: (Grass, metal, dirt, sand, etc etc). 3. Reward System (of course!) example 1: Unlocks color customizations for different parts of your droid. example 2: Unlocks Titles. example 3: Unlocks Logos, Signs, Customizable eyeballs (colors) example 4: Unlocks the ability to name your droid (dunno if this should be an unlock.) example 5: Make credits! (win X amount of matches causes your droid to be more popular.) (each match will be worth a set amount of credits depending on the average popularity of the two combatants.)(small credit gain so the sink isnt so bad!) example 6: Gimmie your suggestion here! Just remember to keep an open mind about this!! FUN Not all pvp has to be done with your characters!! And this is not a ploy for people who make droid parts either! If you want to make droid parts sellable by player characters you will have to find a balance to make it fair for all professions: ie: (crystals, like the ones for lightsabers and blasters but specifically only for battle droid weapons)(suggestions here if you wanna go that route.) Next up... Stats: 1. Armor Total (How much damage your bot can take before rendered disabled,or junked") 3. Part Durability (weapons, locomotion, shields, etc)(so each part is damaged X amount before rendered "junked") 2. Weapon Power (The more powerful, the longer it takes to charge up energy or melee strike) 3. Weapon Speed (The faster you hit, the less powerful the hit) 4. Weapon Accuracy (Used to counteract inaccuracy caused by movement speed.) 5. Shield Rating (against whichever you pick) 5. Boost (How much of a boost is gained? Maybe depending on stacking hits or avoiding damage??) 6. Movement Speed (Faster speed with light armor, slowest speed with heavy armor) 7. Agility (actually avoiding hits by backing up, rotating, side to side,) (not by staying in one place and it being a chance to be missed) 8. Your suggestions? All this is just an idea to have fun, nothing more! i say this is pvp cause its player built droids vs player built droids. Maybe make 2 droids and they work as a team vs another players 2 droids...Or maybe a droid free-for-all!! Other Thoughts include: 1. Player controlled weapons,movement, energy shielding, and boosting. 2. AI battles (Droid AI vs Droid AI)(Let the droids fight it out!) 3. Server Events Every Month: AI Tournaments!! Dare i say bioware or Lucas Arts merchandise Give away to the 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place Winners?? (show your community that you love them BW and LA Remember to VOTE for a sticky if you really like this idea... Get it noticed! PVP doesnt have to be so serious!
  4. my idea was system "controlled" events. where a certain star system is currently the staging ground for the empire and galatic republic scum... ideas... 1. WZ created based on capturing control of key planets in the star system 2. Flashpoints and Operations based on Controlling key planets in the star system. 3. Whoever wins the most WZ + completes the most flashpoints+Completes the most Operations(operations being worth more than the other two) and score them to see who wins the star system.. add a timeline showing the morphing of the galaxy due to conflicts.. Other Little Ideas 4. Have a Death List of everybody who has died while participating in the event... 5. Have a Scale that shows who is gaining the most "ground" in the controlling of the star system so each faction will know to put some foot on face if they are behind... 6. Resources...controlling resource points or just producing resources... allowing people to camp their personal ships at resource points... the more ships guarding the resources, the more resources are produced (good for people that are pvping or running those flashpoints) give a little incentive to get off the fleet station for once lol. 7. Place a Small fleetstation or Outpost in the Star system conflict for social gathering Make it a server-wide community event that spans over 1 month.. 2 months...whoever wins the star system get to Post Naming ideas for the star system. so the star system reflects the collected effort of the republic Nerf-herders or the empire.. 8. last but not least... now those same WZ, flashpoints,operations will now become Defending or Assaulting the opposing faction to take the star system or to defend it...Which at a later date will be fought over once again... or Make a new staging area for a conflict.. Some of you might say, "well that star system battle was not in the lore..." However; Given permission by George Lucas... adding a bit of personal lore to the game is not a bad idea...as long as it does not drastically affect the original lore...   5. Well then you are going to LOOOOVE 1.2.. cause if you changed out any of your gear mods/enhancements in tier gear or pvp gear.. that gear's stats changes WILL NOT update come 1.2 patch... rofl:D

I would suggest you read what i have to say here OP. 1. you are punishing people who dont want a bunch of people in their guild (like myself.. my guild is only made of real life friends... 8 of us) 2.im guessing you are in a rather large guild or your numbers wouldnt be so high...i have 10 million credits at the moment that i have been saving up since november.. while crafting, buying speeders, buying gear for guildies, giving credits to guildies.. when you have alts, they require gear and credits aswell... and ya know...i dont think inviting more people is a proper fix to what you are wanting to do... MY suggestion... 1. commendations are there for a reason...you want to buy cool ship stuff for your guild... make it based on guild commendations. that way.. doesnt matter.. large guild.. small guild..it wont credit sink the small guilds to death. Make the Commendations either gathered via being in a guild group of 4 people allows the group to gather guild ship commendations. and also the ability to buy commendations via credits if the guild is not a very active one. 2. the planet idea i think is a bad idea... to purchase an entire planet, esp in the lore of this era....However, i do think the process of building a minor "outpost" or "guild station" for people to come trade with is a good idea... but also i think their guild ships will probably suffice for awhile. With this Guild seige thing...not fair to invade a 16 person guild, with say a 300 person guild.. i think some of your logic is based off being in a larger guild... however; some enjoy the play style of small guilds, and dont want to be excluded from having a viable "planet". By excluded i mean you dont ever get to have anything nice cause you are beaten to hell everyday by the same guild or another with mass numbers. I suggest your revisualize for the average instead of the above average gaming styles... Just pointing these things out like and actually development meeting... im not trying to troll your idea.

  10. i agree with this... they need to make the galaxy more......dynamic instead of being so static.. for instance...including or creating new lore (if its ok with george lucas). example: Battle for....(whatever planet/star system)..make it a server event... whichever faction has the most wins (pvp) or completes the most flashpoints/operations for the given event, wins that planet/star system and it becomes either part of the republic or the empire in future content. would work just fine with storylines (class and new lore)... if republic wins...you could have flashpoints/operations for republic to hold control against the empire and if the empire wins they have flashpoints/operations to hold control against republic scum. Warzones that pit empire vs republic over control of the star system, which can then lead to later on... another server event where they fight it out again to see who owns the system.. if the tides turn then the roles are reversed for flashpoints/operations and the lore credits the change of power.
  11. everquest 2 was nice like that.. it had a betrayal quest, which was actually a series of quest.. but it allowed you to change factions! would love to see that here.
  12. rofl, i liked that one... however im not sure if you even read my post there....and who is to say that the cybernetic implants dont alter the genetic code to make a new species that is easier to to accept genetic implants/cybernetic implants....just food for thought!!
