  2. Our server, Veela, is an east coast server. As far as I can tell, English is the official language. However, a large community of Quebecan players on the Sith side has grown on the server. It seems like in most every area, general chat is filled with people typing in French. I personally find this annoying. A large portion of general chat is in a language that I don't understand. Often English sentences are lost in the mingle. Then, whenever someone brings up the issue, a huge United States/Canada flamewar erupts. Quebecans dig their heals stating that it's not an English server, but merely an east coast server. US citizens dig their heals and typically flame everything there is about Quebec. Comments?
  3. I have toons named Kimchi and Sundubu. My legacy name is Jjigae. If you're Korean, this make a WHOLE lot of sense. I also have an inquisitor named Darth Fail.
  4. It's not that dumb of a question. Both Blizzard and Bioware use the same authenticator: http://www.vasco.com/products/digipass/digipass_go_range/digipass_go6.aspx It also might not be a question of spending $4 on a new authenticator, but perhaps more of a convenience issue. Who wants to carry around 2 authenticators if you're playing both games? The underlying question is: Does Vasco use a proprietary algorithm exclusive to Bioware and Blizzard? Because if they don't, then there shouldn't be a reason why they can't use the same authenticator on both.
  5. This is awesome to know. I've grinded out every purple hilt from 2-10 (might and resolve) and I'm currently working on 11-14 right now. Stuck on stupid Might 13 right now.
  6. I think it depends on the hilt. I received a Hilt from Assault on Fort Alde: http://www.torhead.com/mission/gxCBB64 I was able to RE it.
  7. It does, actually. Anyone else have confirmation on this? It's not worth RE'ing quest rewards for the mats unless there's the chance for a schematic.
  8. I've noticed that some mission rewards offer blue items that can be RE'ed and follow the same naming convention as my crafted items. For example, one quest reward is a blue quality Might Hilt 12. I have artifice and the green quality Might Hilt 12, but haven't yet discovered the blue schematic (stupid RNG gods). The question is, has anyone successfully RE'd the purple schematic from an existing blue item when you don't have the blue schematic. I guess this could equally apply to GTN purchased blue items.
  9. I like random. If you had to grind through ump-teen REs in order to get that purple schematic, then you'll appreciate how much that schematic is worth and won't post the crafted item on the GTN for less than the cost of mats. You'll also be less likely to sell combines for 50 credit tips because 'all you're doing is pushing one button'. Random purple schematics thins the herd and rewards those who really put in the effort.
  10. Perhaps this isn't the right game for you? It's 2nd most touted feature (the first being a SW franchise) is the fact that, like every other BW game, is heavily story based and voice acted. Some of the conversation choices (not many, but some) actually affect how the quest progresses and branch off slightly. If you really don't care, then spacebar hard.
  11. First off, once a State is having the choice to join the United States, it seemingly can never go back, i may not be well read about US History but it seems that when movements like the Confederacy leaves the United States they go to war for that :/ If the United States cannot accept entire state's own choice to leave their union and ends up bringing them back through war it just proves that the United States is a hypocratic dictatorship, claiming others are violent but uses violence themselves to bring back the sheep in line again, and that it also doesn't stand for any true democrazy(can true democracy really exist?). Just loud thinking perhaps, again i dont claim to know everything United States related or all events surrounding it but it seems at first that the United States starts a war to bring back the Confederacy into line by force once the negotiations ends, am i wrong? :/
  12. If you rolled on a PVP server (I don't care if your friends are on it or not), then you need to expect this. It's not griefing, it's PVP. TBH, I get more grief from friendlies who ninja quest items/resource nodes while I'm clearing to them. At least in PVP I have a chance to fight back.
  13. It's primarily because WoW breeded a bunch of idiots (both tanks and dps) that we have complaints about Juggy tanking. If people obey CC and FF and the Juggy is over level 16 and not horribly geared, then tanking is fine.
