  1. I love how the fact that my playing against a poor team makes me bad. All I am trying to reveal is that deep TK healing is viable, probably even moreso than full Seer given the direction the metagame is going. You still are going to get focused.... but the abilities TK gives prevent a LOT of damage through CC. What do you lose, really? An inefficient AoE heal that is definitely useful at times, some percentage increase to healing, Resplendence for Noble Sac... and some crit. It's stupid to try to defend my personal skill (trolol), but don't think the spec is worthless because of a single game against bads. Try it.
  2. While I do agree that those players aren't the top tier on my server, the purpose was to show how the spec works. If you don't make a mistake, it is VERY difficult for a melee character to get close enough to damage this spec. I am well known, and for the most part in a competitive environment I have 1 to 2 melee on my *** the entire time. Guard + the CC available makes for an annoying person to chase. Granted, I do get lit up. A lot. When someone is in a bad position and needs help, or the entire front line of the enemy is training me ... it's going to happen. However, this allows you to live longer. If you have a sage, just try it out. Salvation is very easy to give up.
  3. As many times as it takes to get the word out. And I get the same thing, there's usually a giant mark on my head... but if only 1 is training you, it's very easy to shrug it off between collapse, wave, and speed.
  4. Good to hear Kiko... although I didn't grab the chain lightning. I am pretty decked out in that video at 1610ish willpower and 1k expertise, 300ish in crit/surge about 250 alacrity. Definitely most of your healing is through instants and Trance/Innervate. I find Sages/Sorcs to be more damage preventers/sustainers rather than simply pushing red bars... and I like it that way.
  5. I haven't tried any pve with this Brittany... but you're probably right.
  6. Yeah, the tidal force thing could work... I just love having a 20 second sprint way too much. that way, I can balance my "oh ****" kite buttons between wave and sprint (10 seconds in between or so). Although I agree... wave / collapse are amazing tools that should be used
  7. I find survival to be far from abysmal (at least in 1.2 terms where everyone is getting blown up). Sure, if I get focused I die, I just have tools to help prevent getting focused. And true, the heals are not as strong as a full spec... (and no Reviv / Salv... but that's not a big loss) but the % healing boost gain doesn't compare to the survivability you gain ^^
  8. I wish I HAD been using this pre 1.2. This with double dipping deliverance would be sweet
  9. 1.2 Seer / TK build For the record... I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to movie editing, competitive gaming, or female stimulation. With that out of the way, I posted this to give hope... and maybe even a guide... to Sages and Sorcs who feel they got the hose in 1.2. The build: 21 / 20 / 0 http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600GhMRMdMzZf0drbMr.1 The spec focuses on control. I will give my fellow Seers/Sorcs the benefit of presumed intelligence, so I won't go over every talent point. The tools given to us by the TK tree (Force Wave root, bubble explode, tk effusion, Concentration, Blockout) assure that a single melee (Marauder, for instance...) won't be able to pressure you as well as he could. As an added benefit, providing you heal VERY offensively, your force pool will almost never deplete unless the battle starts getting too out of hand. When it does, however, Noble Sac + disturbance can go a long way. You are in the game to keep your teammates alive. Sometimes that means assisting targets. Do your best to keep weaken mind up on 1 to 2 targets, and wait for the Pyschic Projection proc. Assist as necessary (or use it for the high possibility of gaining an Effusion proc) The last fun tool, Blockout (Mind Snap +2 second lockout. -15 sec CD on Force Life), makes life easy against healers and casting dps. Use that $h*$ as often as you can. That being said... Enjoy. (watch in HD!)
