  1. Your first step should be to report them to the Leader of their guild. If you find out s/he was one of them, or s/he doesn't care about it, then you can start naming them. A CS ticket from your group would be a good way to get a "paper" trail going on them, so that if they get enough complains they might do something to them from an official standpoint.
  2. I don't think you've really noticed, but you actually ARE "juggling" around multiple toons, you're just not getting anywhere with ANY of them because you're deleting them after a certain point. If you keep doing that, you will burn out and not play anymore. Go roll a toon in all eight classes and level each one up to ten. Then go back and level each one to 20. By that time, you should get a feel for which one you are liking the best. Don't delete any after that, just leave them alone. That way if you feel like playing another style you can. Or, you can just keep leveling each one in groups of ten and end up with 8 lvl 50 toons at the end. Whatever you do, you can't keep deleting them when you want to go do another class. You will not get to 50 if you do.
  3. I'm also very, very disappointed that the Phantom set has changed. I didn't buy the set, it was given to me by my hubby because I really liked it when he showed it to me. He could have sold it and gotten lots of credits, but he gave it to me instead. I'm also very unhappy they added some stupid things to the gloves. Now both the gloves and the chest piece call so much attention to themselves. My IA looked so nice and forgettable (which is a good thing for an IA) in this set and it actually had no hood! I hate the fact that you can't choose to hide the hood. Maybe I'm spoiled by EQ2, where I can equip cosmetic stuff OVER my armor and achieve the exact, specific look I want. I have bags and bags full of stuff to equip in my bank on my main in EQ2, so I can go in and have her look just how I want her to at that specific point in time. Here, I have to settle on one look per toon, and can't even really do that if it's not moddable and adaptive. Forget about half of the moddable robes for Jedi's....the stupid hood totally covers the wearer so you look no different than the next Joe Schmoe.
  4. The main tank may be tanking the lower mobs first, then taking on the bigger one, but you always focus on his target. Most even just tell you to target them (the tank) and your attacks go through him. This also helps him keep aggro too (which is another weird thing about this game, I don't seem to find a way to turn on targeting through someone else.)
  5. Except that if you are coming from other MMO's, it doesn't work the same way. This is my 3rd mmorpg......both of the other two had it set up that dps concentrated solely on the main tank's target. AT ALL TIMES! If you didn't, you were called out for it and "taught" how to do it correctly. It also seems that tanks in those other games have more taunts and abilities to grab full mob aggro. In raid groups, there would always be an off-tank that would be assigned and certain dps would be assigned to assist him in burning adds. It also didn't help that most of the time, it was better to burn the boss asap and ignore the adds (the adds would poof when the boss went down.) The group set-up in this game is way different too....I"m used to 6-man groups, w/tank, healer, and a mix of others. That mix included dps, power-feeders, mezzers, etc. Just some things to point out that make the fights here somewhat disorienting at first.
  6. That's exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much! Now I have a couple months of reading!
  7. I'm interested in starting to read the books and such to learn more about the SW lore. (I totally enjoyed delving into the lore for LOTR, so am hoping to do the same here, to understand more about what I"m playing in-game) I'm just not sure what book to start with. Will playing the KOTOR games help too? There are so many books listed when I search on Kindle that I thought I would ask here before jumping in. Thanks for the help!
