  1. I included the current warzones into this list as a way to illustrate how different these new ideas are compared to the current ones. Tell me what you think of these ideas! The Civil War: (Control Points) - 3 turrets that start neutral. - Capture the turrets and they will fire at the enemy team's ship deducting points over time. - First team to 0 points loses. Huttball: (Ball Game) - 1 ball that starts at the center. - Take the ball to the enemy team's base to capture. - You may pass the ball to teammates using the "Pass Objective" ability, but be careful of interceptions. - Hazardous traps fill the court, use these to your advantage when fighting the other team. - Upon capturing the ball resets to the center. - First team to 6 points wins. (Warzone is timed, highest score wins) - Upon a tie, the team holding the ball wins. Void Star: (Assault) - Attackers need to plant bombs on the doors or enter passcodes into terminals in order to advance. - Defenders need to prevent the attackers from planting bombs or disarm them, hold the enemy team back until the time expires. - Points are earned through each line of defense your team successfully passes through. - 2 rounds, both teams attack once and defend once. - The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. (Warzone is timed, highest score wins) Unnamed Warzone: (Capture The Flag) - 1 flag owned by both teams, steal the enemy flag from their base and capture it at your team's base. - In order to capture you need both your team's flag and the enemy flag inside your base. - Players may hand the flag to other teammate using the "Pass Objective" ability. (melee range passing only) - When a flag carrier dies, the flag lays where the carrier fell for 20 seconds. Teammates of the carrier may pick the flag up with a 1s cast time and enemies may return the flag with a 3s cast time. - First team to score 5 points wins. (Warzone is timed, highest score wins) Unnamed Warzone: (Hazardous Objectives) - 4 computer terminals that start neutral. Only 2 terminals are operational at a time. - Capture both operational terminals to open the airlocks and vent out the atmosphere. When a player is vented into the atmosphere their team loses 1 point. - Safe rooms are located throughout the ship, their blast doors will shut during the venting sequence keeping you from being vented. - When Venting is completed the terminals become deactivated and the other 2 terminals become operational. - First team to 0 score loses. (Warzone is timed, highest score wins) Hutt Napper: (Tug Of War) - 1 train cart starts at the center. (with a baby hutt inside) - Stand near the objective to cause it to slowly move toward your team's base. If an enemy is nearby the cart will not move, push them away in order to keep the cart moving in the right direction. - Upon capturing the objective the team earns one point and the round resets. (best 2 of 3, Warzone is timed, highest score wins) - Upon a tie, the team with the objective closer to their base wins.
  2. 50 expertise = 1.38% (1.38 gain from 0) 100 expertise = 2.66% (1.28 gain from 1.38) 150 expertise = 3.85% (1.19 gain from 2.66) took everything off but the battlemaster implants and earpiece to get these numbers. it appears there is a diminishing return from the very beginning.
  3. did they get ninja nerfed or is the ingame tooltip just bugged? because I read no patch notes about this... Top is the skill calcuator: Bottom is an ingame screenshot as of 2/6/2012 http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee301/Fuglypump/shadow.png
  4. So far I've been pretty happy with the warzones aside from huttball, I'd really like to see some additions made to pvp and changes made to a few warzones. With that being said here's my ideas. Huttball: My premade has a pretty damn good strategy, it involves someone sitting in the goal line in stealth waiting for a pass. I'm usually that person, we normally win but at the cost of getting zero medals because I'm trying to win instead of farm medals. I would really like to see medals that actually promote playing huttball in a huttball court instead of deathmatch in a huttball court, these medals would suffice: - Capture the ball 1, 3, 5 times. (3 medals in all) - Pass the ball to a player within 15 seconds of him or her capturing it 1, 3, 5 times. (3 medals in all) Void Star: Like huttball, it would be really nice to have some special medals for playing well: - Successfully arm or disarm the bomb 1, 3, 5 times (3 medals in all) - Interrupt 3 people that are arming/disarming the bomb at the same time. - Stun a player nearby a teammate who is arming/disarming the bomb withing 5 seconds of the teammate completing the arm/disarm process. Warzone Minimaps: I would really like to see the minimaps flipped over in cases where the physical left side of the warzone isn't actually the left side of the minimap. When someone calls out "left door needs help" I immediately think of the physical left, but occasionally there's that one guy who goes by the map and messes everyone up. (because left on minimap is sometimes the physically right side) Another solution to that issue would be naming the objectives, turrets A, B, C or doors A, and B. This would solve a lot of dumb communication issues with players not in your premade. New Warzone: - Capture the Flag, 1 flag per team's base, capturing requires both flags. - When a flag carrier dies, the flag is dropped onto the ground and can either be returned or picked up. It takes 2 seconds to pick up the flag and 4 seconds to return it. - Players can only pass the flag to other players in melee range. - Objective points are earned by holding the flag, or healing/protecting/attacking the flag carrier. - A decent dropoff that can't be climbed up for each base, making it an exit-only from bases, underneath is acid or lava. This can be used as an escape route for flag carriers but at the cost of fall dmg and some acid/lava damage. This can also be used as an entry if you have a teammate to pull you up.
  5. Try your best to think of the race that would be in SWTOR's 4th expansion, which race would it be? I'm convinced it will have gungan jedi's. Imagine the kind of dialog your character would have. OH MY GOD space missions would be terrifying knowing that a gungan is piloting the ship. Every single asteroid would be in danger of being run into. And the pod racing from expansion #2 will be even more terrifying, imagine being beaten by a gungan in a race that is all about not being clumsy?
  6. if there was a built in statistic tracker for combat then people wouldn't have to spam stats
  7. Pretty much a list in order of when I think of them, this is a compiled list of everything I'd like to see added to the game - Basic Macros (or advanced if they feel like it, but they could save the work by allowing addons) - Addons - Pod Racing (It would be set up parallel to warzones, you queue for a pod racing game and get set up in a course with other players and race!) - Co-op Space Missions for parties of 4, 8, and 16 (players would share a ship and operate turrets or escort it with small fighters) - UI for both defensive target and your target's target. - UI Editor (and allow more action bars) - Sort items for sale by unit price (on the market) - Companions have their own speeder, and travel alongside you while you're on your speeder. - Companions can go put items for sale on the market for you. (takes time for putting each item up, time depends on the price of the item. sending the companion to do this costs nothing other than the market's fees) - Players can have 2 specs and switch in between them. (it would have a cooldown of 30 minutes and cannot be used in combat, items can be assigned to automatically swap along with the specs as well, which would prevent people from accidentally healing in their dps gear) - Dyes, there's already quite a lot of customization because of the way the item modification system works, but it would still be nice to be able to have matching colors on gear. - Flashpoint Finder, a system that sets you up with a group to run a flashpoint, you join a queue with your selected role and it pairs you up with other people who want to run a flashpoint with the correct roles. (I'd really like to see this, as well as it being cross server, although the system should try its best to pair you with people on the same server) - Implement a "Need on Use" system, essentially you can't roll on gear you can't or would never wear. (if you wear heavy armor you can't roll on medium or light armor, if you use a gun you can't roll on a light saber, ect.) - BOP loot should be tradable to eligible players within 30 minutes of the item being looted. I am just putting these ideas out there, BioWare has probably thought of most of these, but in the off chance that they haven't I'll post this thread.
  8. I know macros can make some games faceroll easy, but I'm also at the point where there's just not enough rooms on my bars to put everything, I'm having to bind keys to the side bars. I prefer to have all my abilities in the same area. I'm only asking for basic macros without built in logic (just a chronological list of commands) But if advanced macros were implemented that would be wonderful too because that would mean having even more space on my bars. I don't have a problem without macros other than bar space, I can easily maintain every ability's cooldown and rarely mess up my rotation, but at the same time I have so many abilities that should be used whenever they're off cooldown, and macro support would allow me to remove them from my bars which would give me space for the other abilities. Here's a macro that I would end up using if it were in the game now: I'd actually have 2 macros like this, 1 with double strike and 1 without, that way I can save up force to use project and other higher cost abilities. With these I would turn 5 buttons into 2 buttons. Here's the advanced macro With advanced macros you're able to put a lot more into them, this macro consists of 10 abilities, but I'd end up keeping deflection, battle readiness, and kinetic ward on my action bars so I can manually use them when needed. So that would mean turning 10 buttons into 4. NOTE: this is would be a shadow tank's macro. Anyways, I'd really like to see at least basic macros being implemented.
