  1. I was just pvping last night with my lvl 24-26 (after last night) Jugg that is all immortal spec. I was able to get top score in several of the matches I played. Keep in mind that these were pug matches and I don't have PvP gear on just tanking gear between rating 50-60 for the most part. One of my better matches was 80K dmg, 50K protection (in huttball, 20-35K in Alderaan or Voidstar), while working on the objectives. A good match for me was 11 medals. A Jugg really shines when you work as a team and work towards objectives. You won't be getting the 2.5K dmg medal at this level (at least I wasn't) so you need to work on objectives, protecting, and using your cooldowns appropriately to complete objectives and not to win 1v1 battles. I would typically lose most 1v1 battles but I was still able to top the charts or top my team score in my pug matches on several occasions last night. Here's a few more tips. Put guard down on whoever is taking plenty of damage and stay pretty safe while you get the medals for 10K protection in 1 life. Taunt random enemies that are attacking your teammates. to reduce their damage. Travel with the pack at all times and don't make yourself an obvious target. Your ability to get the 75K damage medal and protection medals depend on your ability to be alive over the long haul. Many people think that a jugg is a tank and therfore you should be the first in, but in PvP without a dedicated healer you will last about 5 seconds longer than the other classes.
  2. Thank you very much Bioware as I had a lvl 48 at the time of the 1.2 patch and legacy level 8. Your solution is fair and I appreciate you recognizing that not everyone has the same playstyle. Kudos Bioware.
  3. I have a low level Sorc I want to PvP with and I want to know what is a good spec for PvP at this point? I can see some suggestions for builds I want to end up with, but I would really like to know in this 1.2 world what spec is good when you have so few points to invest so far. Thanks in advance.
  4. Didn't say I was quitting, but this is the first time I have felt slighted and makes me want to quit. My enjoyment of the game will overcome this slight but that doesn't mean I can't express my thoughts. Can you honestly say you'd have a problem if Bioware also gave out free 30 days to all those that were subbed from start but didn't have lvl 50's yet? I doubt anyone would see that as unreasonable for them to do.
  5. I have been subbed to SWTOR since pre-release and rarely complained about any of the decisions the devs had made but the free 30 days has been done wrong if you ask me. Just because my playstyle (I have a lvl 48 and a bunch of alts) I don't get the 30 free days? Bioware is offering 30 free days to anyone that has a lvl 50 no matter how long they've supported the game and they are also offering 6 days to the people that stopped subbing to the game, but nothing for those of us that either don't play as much or make a bunch of alts or both. I realize that very few of you forum goers fall into this category but I think most of you will agree that in addition to those with level 50 characters, all accounts that have been subbed since release deserve the free 30 days as well. It's ironic that this is the first thing Bioware has done that makes me want to cancel my sub and show my appreciation right back to Bioware.
  6. 100% agree with OP. Tempted to unsub and reciprocate the appreciation right back to Bioware.
  7. As the thread title states. 8. You know it would have been classier to give 30 days free time to everyone that has been subbed since release. I have a 48 and several other alts and no 30 days for me even though I've supported SWTOR since the beginning. Not impressed.
  9. Somebody doesn't like being undercut methinks.
  10. I'm still very much enjoying the game and I feel Bioware is doing well to address the concerns the majority of players have currently.
  11. Just start an alt and don't worry too much about the legacy system. You will be really disappointed if it doesn't offer any new customization features which it quite possibly won't.
  12. Not arguing in the least about importance of retention within the first 3-6 months. All I said was that if he thought a 15% loss was bad then he has no clue. 15% loss is normal to good and coupled with a 2million sold I would call that a successful first month retention and so would anyone else that has a clue about MMO's. 3-6 month retention is not what I was commenting on.
  13. Then by your standards there has never been a successful MMO including WoW. I don't mean to be rude but... clueless. Look up the retention rates after the first month for any MMO launched to date before you start saying that 300,000 out of 2 million is poor. BTW where are you getting 20-25% loss from? Get a calculator if you need help.
  14. If you think that 1.7m out of 2m retention rate is poor then you really are clueless.
