  1. For those that are complaining (especially those that have already paid for their subscription): Games evolve, and this one will too. If you gave me Vanilla WoW to me now, from what it is today, I would of never played that crap. The solution is simple: Are you enjoying the game? Keep on playing, keep on paying, and lets see what the future holds. Are you not enjoying the game now, but feel it could change in the future? Cancel your subscription, maybe offer some constructive criticism as to what you feel needs improvement, come back in six months, see where the game is at that point. Are you not enjoying the game, period? Cancel your subscription, and stop complaining on the boards. Or better yet, offer some constructive criticism for how you feel the game would improve before leaving. I like this game. I'm staying until I don't like it anymore. YAY!
  2. My own reply. Learned a couple of new things, including Dual Spec (which I'm excited about) Guild Banks coming out in 1.2, and new species for Legacy, which sounds nice. I am most looking forward to the crafting changes so that it is more end-game viable, but I understand that is being worked on, and can't wait to see what comes out of that. One thing I ask for the Legacy Species part, is that people get the chance (even if one time) to change their species once legacy comes out. I would hate to make new alts now, only to find out its late to do anything about it. ( a common concern )
  3. Game's brand new, and I'm loving it so far. Turn off your subscription, and come back in six months if it's bothering you.
  4. (Enter WoW Talk) Meaningful and powerful, eh? So like when a WoW Rogue can switch between one of three dps classes? Or how a priest can dual spec into a healer or a dps? When you start getting into heal/tank/dps classes, like Druids and Paladins, you begin to encounter the dreaded "hybrid-tax", which sucks, but a necessary evil to prevent everyone from choosing the 'best at everything' class. The advanced class system works, because tank/dps or heals/dps classes can still have the same dps as a dps/dps class without any dreaded taxation, so everyone gets to be powerful. A dual spec is awesome, because it allows the flexibility of being a healer/dps or a tank and dps, or switch between a pve and a pvp spec...etc etc. Start giving the ability to switch advanced classes, you begin to lose the unique-ness of it all.
  5. If they told you, "We're working on improving that" it wouldn't have been good enough for you. I'd rather hear definite information then hearing something I know they are working on
  6. Hello, A little bit of history: I'm on a very small populated server (Axial Park), so there aren't many people on during certain periods. I'm on Corellia (keep in mind, I'm the only one on the planet, since the population is pretty low) and I decide to farm a Champion for some blues, exp, and credits...plus, it's fun to solo champions as a marauder. After about 4 or 5 times of this, I notice the exp/credits getting low...and until the last time, the champion gives no exp, no credits, and drops nothing. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this an in game mechanic? Just curious. Thanks.
  7. Uh...hello....Bioware is just trying to be historically accurate. The Empire is suppose to oppress the republic...its what fuels their anger towards them. Just my two credits :3
  8. I agree with this, you would need to have certain zones where you can build houses...but after hearing a little bit more, I like the idea of housing on your ship.
  9. I love this game, but check those numbers again after the free subscriptions die out...there will probably be a small dip, but I'm sure it'll pick up. WoW wasn't 14,000,000 subs in a day (you know like rome wasn't built in a....ah never mind)
  10. Can you see this implemented at a late date? I can. Continuously expanding the optional fun content. By the way, please limit the "Bioware needs to fix this game first" argument...it's been beaten to the ground
  11. You could say that about Pazaak as well...but hey...game came out only a month ago. Who knows what the future may hold?
  12. After sifting through the garbage in General Discussion, it is wonderful to come to such a friendly thread... holds out hope in this community... Hello Chris! It is a pleasure to meet you
  13. Exactly the point I am making. Optional things answers the dilemma of 'nothing to do endgame'.
