  1. This. Honest, simple and polite answer. I have only played a dps scoundrel from start and had so much fun. Don't need to be OP or FOTM....just don't want to be a hinderence to my teammates in any kind of competitive pvp. The nerf ops joke got stale about 2 years ago. Of all the classes, balance and quality of life concerns, why mess with that particular class again after just taking there opening knockdown out? Why BW, just wonder what your thinking.
  2. ...And poof!! Eric is gone in a puff of smoke faster than Houdini
  3. Vodrin, thank-you for your well written reply, its appreciated. Surprised you are the only one that answered. I expected to get bashed - you suck, L2Play, u just bad, etc.......what u said makes sense, and could result in this happening. I have very fast net and a good comp....though not sure what the sniper was playing on that maybe produced this effect. Cheers Vodrin, and may the force be with you,
  4. I am a lvl 55 dps scoundrel, online since day 3 the game came out years ago. I don't really play any other characters, just run my crappy dps scoundrel for fun...its what I enjoy. I do have some alts, leveled mostly to play and understand other classes in pvp. All I do is run ranked and regs on PoT5, Last nite in a civil war, I saw and experienced something ive never seen. Moved to snow in stealth, all cds up. I see 1 sniper guarding solo. I grab the power up and circle wide around and behind him, he did not detect me out of stealth. I pop my defense screen, flechette round, pugnacity and open like a bat out of hell on him with shootfirst.. I am full brutal geared with augments, min/maxed too. After the backblast, I go thru more than a full rotation on him (blaster whip, sabcharge, kirty kick(hard stun), Backblast and about 3-4 sucker punches). Point being I pumped him really good with the pugnacity up, as well as buffed by a skill stim (+169 power). Any snipers I get the open on like this are nearly dead by the time the fight actually starts. Poor ones melt and sometimes are already dead if I get some lucky crits, I love it Well after blowing my wad with a full opener on this sniper........his health never moved, did not ever budge for 1 second from full life. He turned to me still at 100% life, unloaded on me and blew me up. Sitting from my corpse still looking at him, guy still had 100% full life, dmg buffs still ticking from my bleeds. Something just felt very wrong to me, never seen that happen in years. I am not going to "label" this as anything particular.........just asking the pvpers how this can happen, did I miss something. There were no others any where near us, it was 1v1 fight, all others fighting at mid in Civil War. Again, never seen this happen in years of playing this game, purely pvping. Help explain how or what ability gave this sniper 100% immunity to all my attacks for a extended duration (15 secs +), and why I have never seen another sniper ever be able to do this. I understand there are some really good pvpers out there, what am I missing here?
  5. Kids and new gamers tend to play Republic more, they want to play the good side. The power gamers and hardcore pvpers tend to play the Imp side with the much cooler animations, and kick the #$@! out of the dirty Pubs.
  6. Why the angry and attacking attitude? The guy made a post from his point of view. If you don't agree....that's fine, its YOUR opinion. No need to trash people and repeatedly answering with "you are bad". Just stay out of posts if they are just "silly". It's people like you that ruin both the game and the community. Check yourself in a mirror and stay quiet if you have nothing constructive to say at all.
  7. "SWTOR doesn't use the Hero Engine." - your words, which were wrong......scroll up and read...... and god that "im better than you tone" when u post............
  8. Wow Mr. Omniscipent one......SWTOR is built on and its core is the hero engine. "Current" engine is modified yes, but its still the hero engine. Did you not read the aritcles and interviews from the CEO of the company that sold the hero engine to BW/EA? He was upfront and honest......it wasn't ready for what they wanted to do, but they offered a lot of $$$ and bought it anyway. Someone help me here and necro it.....it was posted in the pvp forums a long time ago.....in a galaxy far far away
  9. Wow its like groundhog day on these forums....listen....THIS SAME POST ABOUT XSERVERS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS NOW.....this is like the 1000th post asking and saying THE SAME THING. For the love of God, Bioware actually answered this point blank to its player base which they never do.......Here is your complicated answer about xserver ques from Bioware: "No. Not in the foreseeable future." Six English words, pretty clear. No matter how much u post and whine, the answer will be the same. The games hero engine is not designed for it, period. Too much money and time/resources for them to do it. Period. It really is too bad because it would really improve the state of the game and solve a lot of problems. Bioware just don't care enough, its now just about the cartel market and $$$.
  10. But our Cartel Market has a new re-skinned helmet that you can purchase!! May the force be with you!! lulz.
  11. *Crickets*............thanks for the communication, keep up the good work BW
  12. Another boneheaded BW/EA decision that baffles me.....the 8 v 8 worked fine, everything was in place, not much work to do for BW except season rewards. Baffling to remove content for no reason when the player base is constantly asking for more. It also would have given ranked people an option if they didn't like arena's. Another bad decision that further butchered the player base..... pushed a lot of competitive and skilled pvper's away from the game that have never come back. Le sigh....
  13. "No." About the only thing that comes out of Musco's mouth.
  14. Ahh the ignorance. When I came to this game week of launch, we brought our whole power guild over from Wow. We had 200 amazing people and players, were completing game content like we were Sealteam6. It was amazing to see, even funner to play. We all had successfully been having fun together for over 5+ years. Some of us met in real life for some "adult rootbeers". Quality players, quality people. Fast forward to today.......I am the last one still playing, all have left. Miss the commadrie and the fun times, they will never be back.
