  1. My Renowned Trooper boots still have blue lights around the kneepads and on the back a little stripe. Also the color match is broke. The lights look the same as the ones on the Galvanized Infantry set. Which I find weird, that I bought those boots over a year ago, and they would just suddenly grow lights on them. I see other models are affected too, but it's 2.5 and still have whacko boots.
  2. Great Suggestions LA: -In particular-I really like #4, it would really help to make them seem more alive. If they aren't gonna talk to us, at least make them do something besides staring away for eternity. They remind me of zoo animals. -I really like Cola Windstar's suggestion above, to enable duels with companions for affection. It would be very logical for both the military and jedi, and smugglers and bounty hunters like to scrap too. If they don't want us to gain too many love points, put a cap on it or whatever. I have one to add as well: -Please allow us to chain the ship droids to our training dummies and beat them. If we must be tortured forever with their voices- let it be screams of agony we endure, instead of their constant sniveling and mewling.
  3. Yeah thanks for the speeder guys! I like how it jiggles and shakes when it idles.
  4. Although this is one hell of a troll post, I just want to add in some of the cannon to the argument. I know in the X-Wing series by Michael Stackpole he weighed in on the concept of romance between species, and how it was viewed at the time by the society at large, this would be shortly after Palpatine got tossed in a hole... One of his characters, a human male, was involved in a romance with a Selonian female. The society wasn't "so far behind" as the OP suggests we are, that the couple ever felt their union was looked down on in anyway for their choice in romantic partners. They loved eachother, all their parts lined up, and they were totally doing it all the time. They had to break up because he had an allergic reaction to small insects living in her fur. He got a rash, a bad one. OP-there's usually a logical reason you don't see rabbits attempting to breed with pigs. Or humans breeding with monkeys. But you don't really care about that. This whole thing is a giant troll post so you could preach about how the homosexual community is viewed in this world. Nearly every one of your responses is an attempt to further that conversation. Bioware is not Xenophobic.
  5. They've been making us bust our collective butts to acquire recolors of so many armors now. Think about the old Columi and Rakata sets, which were simply recolors of identical gear. Most people spent a lot of time and therefore money in the past to acquire recolors. The only difference the in the vendor Triumvirate set is that you needed to buy out of pocket as opposed to spending time and in game credits. (i know they cost a few credits in game plus the certificate-but its not much) This change actually makes it harder for them to sell us simple recolors. Once we get the set- we need to pay the extra CC to unlock the gear for our legacy, but after that it's the last time they can dip into our pocket for that design. This is a good thing, IMO. TLDR: it actually saves us money because it prevents them selling us simple recolored armor designs in the way they did with the Triumvirate set as you are pointing out.

  7. Just wondering if anyone knows why these armors can be dyed. They are lore sets like Jolee Bindo's and Darth Sion-characters from the story- yet they are the first lore sets to have a dye slot on the gear. At least according to dulfy and the collections page. I'm not trying to reopen the Pink Darth Vader debate which already has multiple threads devoted to it, or troll or anything like that. This is a new development and perhaps a gold post could clarify this for us. Has the policy changed? Is BW gonna do this from now on? Have they heard our requests?
  8. Hey Billy, I think it's awesome that you have enough of an interest to go ahead and seek out the socially acceptable way of using the need/greed system. Good job, I wish more people would put the small amount of effort into critical thinking about this and THEN adapting their behavior during gameplay. It is a minor act of civility many people don't consider. However the game is full of players who CBA to put even that small amount of thought and effort into "playing well with others". I gave up long ago educating people about what is proper behavior in this capacity, and now I just "go with the flow". You will find plenty of people automatically just hit need on everything and refuse to adapt their behavior, whether due to apathy, ignorance, or they are just plain selfish people who truly don't give a damn about what is fair or nice. Usually I just wait till the first boss and see how everyone else rolls. If people are hitting need on gear that they can't use for their specific AC (consular rolling need on heavy armor etc etc etc)- then they are rolling need for companions or vendor ($$). And if they are rolling need for those reasons, then so am I. Fair is fair. -Q
  9. Thanks again for responding Eric, Access to the site for me has been somewhat touch and go for most of the morning and early afternoon, many times i stumble into a "maintenance" window. I bet its the same for many people. I for one would have appreciated knowing, even if it had no impact on when I'd be able to play, it's nice to know you guys have at least some kind of idea how to fix it. But as evidenced by the many posts others have made about the nature of the problem, it probably wouldn't have gone over too well to know it was a CM bug. Many of the forum complaints seem to roll their dislike of the CM into more ammunition against everything you do in this neverending war against profit. It does rankle a bit to know this is why it's been down longer than anticipated, but if the CC purchase link wasn't working properly, I'd bet there would be a serious security issue for our personal info-so I am glad you took it down in lieu of just throwing a quick fix at it. I guess if you know everyone is gonna complain it's better to manage your PR time after the fix, rather than before the fix is done. I appreciate the response nonetheless-first time i ever got one! -Q P.s. now how bout some new screenies on the main page!!!
  10. Hi Eric, Thanks for letting us know what was going on. Although I am curious why that information couldn't be shared with us earlier in the day? I saw there is a 100+ page thread where you are giving tauntaun fawns out-so obviously you had the ability to communicate with us. Why treat this as some sort of state secret??? And why is that banner thing always a mess? I recall when RothC launched you guys had troubles with it back then too, I'd say you guys should consider abandoning the banner altogether. Also, yeah, when i clicked the apparently non functional banner on the CM, it just brought me to the homepage, where I was once again reminded that the Chevin event was the only screenshot worthy thing BW has done in the last year. Over a year actually. -Q
  11. We have always known lore outfits would not be able to be dyed, as long as dyes have been around- we know this. They have never said otherwise, and neither, a) allowing us to preview these dyes in the preview window, nor, b) allowing "unify to chest" with lore items-in anyway means that we should be able to dye lore items. It simply shows us that they cut every corner they could when they added in the dye system, and did not want to take the time to rewrite any existing gear they didn't have to. That said.. I agree that we should be able to dye lore gear. It is bought and paid for with RL money, and so are the dyes. Once I buy them I should be able to use them how I will. And more customization=more happy players. I would really like to see a gold post about this, and it would be nice to know if they would be willing to reconsider their stance on this. That dulfy interview is not that recent. And for the record, the "pink/purple" dye in the game is really not a "bright" pink...it's more of a rose color.
  12. Last I checked, there's no Darth Vader Suit in the game. If you need to make things up to prove your point you don't have one to prove. If you're feeling nostalgic for the black suit DV-go watch the movies. BW is fully aware that players prefer more customization than less. For whatever reason they won't let us dye these items, I'd sure like a gold post to clarify their rationale. All these items are bought and paid for with CC$$, and so are the dyes...why do we need these restrictions? If it really is because they are planning to recolor and sell them all over again-that's probably not something the playerbase would appreciate. /signed
  13. It used to upset me there was no "Grey Jedi" gear. Then I got to 50 and realized it had no impact on the game aside from relic limits and cosmetic gear. Then they added Jolee Bindo's set, a well known grey jedi from KOTOR, and I was happy with that. I just wish I could dye it, but the brown on brown looks great as is.
