  1. Heh, my Guardian is wearing that. Look trumps a little bit of armor every time It has those durn "flappy bits" too, but then its usually paired with pants...
  2. Rep-side Acolyte Bracers. More stuff without long sleeves or high necks, more casual, you know, clothes people would actually wear all day...
  3. We're begging for a hood toggle for something like two years now. About a year or so ago they even said it will come... eventually.
  4. The pistol looks pretty good, most of the rest is trash though, yeah.
  5. Its not just the flap. Apparently you can't dye the damn thing. Sure, you can plug in dye modules, but most of it just stays black, the actually dyeable area is pretty small, mostly on the back, very funny. And those knee-mounted spears really should come in handy in a brawl...
  6. I'm not sure whether i should laugh or cry. Seriously, read again what you just wrote there?
  7. Noticed that changing color with the Aspiring Knights Vest first. Apparently, the lighter your skin, the darker the piece. Though i only noticed it on clothing that actually shows some skin? And its not that its a toga. If done right, togas can look pretty cool. Considering the wide variety of styles available to Consulars otherwise (ouchie, my sarcasm meter just exploded), its a welcome change. Seriously, anything thats not a robe is welcome at this point. Its the details. The skirt flares out way too far to the sides, it looks silly when wearing pants, aside from the fact that the fabric would have to be extremely stiff for that behaviour. And don't get me started on the hood. Apparantly its a bag pulled over your head (probably out of shame), cause i'm surely not seeing a connection to the rest of the piece... But look at the bright side. There aren't headsized pads covering your shoulders and hands! While we're at it, anyone has a Twi'lek with that thing? Does the hood disappear, or are the lekku poking through?
  8. They aren't really that much more common, it just feels that way cause they stockpile up fast. I've sold Treasure Hunting missions for 40k, but Investigation missions don't even sell for 4k, cause the Investigation skill itself its nearly useless. And the reason for that is that Armstech itself is an almost useless skill. How many weapons do you need after you get your first orange in your class missions?
  9. Anyone has a Twi'lek with the PvE armor? Please tell me the hood still disappears like with all other robes, cause when i checked in the preview window (not high enuff for it myself) the hood was still up, with the lekku poking through! And while we're at it, that "hood"!?! Seriously, whats that joke? Its not even connected to the rest of the tunic! It looks more like a bag pulled over the head...
  10. Currently, no. But they said that with 1.2 you can send cross faction mails within your legacy, so to chars on your account. No idea if that includes items/money though.
  11. You used the word "spell" 69 times in that guide. Impressive, considering there are no spells in Star Wars... Aside from that "minor" quibble, its always interesting to read about others insights into PvP. Helps fighting them.
  12. Guess you missed that Protector/Huddle is gone? Your survivability and utility boost is a tad less than you think.
  13. Who ever said Marauders tank better? What they are better at is surviving. And that has absolutely nothing to do with tanking, even though many seem to consider both things to be the same. Tanking means intentionally getting and holding aggro, and then taking the hits (with a healer) until the baddie drops dead. Surviving means having the tools to, well, survive unwanted attention, including things like defensive cooldowns or aggro drops. And its a fact now that the DPS Jugger has less survival tools than the Marauder. Oh, and the effective difference between heavy and medium armor is actually surprisingly small, what do you think why the tank stances all have armor modifiers? And a shield? Utterless worthless argument. Aside from the fact that no DPS specced Jugger would ever use one (instead they wear DPS gear, big surprise i know), shields are effectively useless without Soresu. And guess what, no DPSer would use Soresu, as it gimps Focus and with that damage, and would also rob him of the damage benefits of the other forms.
  14. Seriously now, is it really that hard to write complete words in a frelling game forum? You aren't in a hurry here, and there's no letter count. Its not cool, 1337 or whatever, just lazy and dumb. I have a hard time taking people who can't write complete and comprehensive sentences serious.
  15. So, you consider 20% more damage (and yes, its 20, not 30) while effectively tripling the focus cost a buff?
