Heroic Mode?) - SF Heroic Your personal experience while playing this content - Absolute and total frustration. I know how to play my character doing interrupts, stuns, etc.at the appropriate times. I was using a defense stim. Did OK until the Skytrooper Pratorian and it did noting but constant stuns/interrupts and calling in additional help. It was all Lana could do to heal herself let alone me. I couldn't even deal with the first group he called in before I was 2 groups behind and getting pummeled. I had beaten the other Heroic SF missions until the nerf. The last guy was bad but I could eventually pull it off if I was careful. Now I can't even get anywhere near him to try. This whole insidious alliance grind is sickening. I can't even stomach the idea of doing this on my other 7 characters. It should be legacy wide at a minimum

This is a really bad change. It's bad enough that it is a HUGE grind getting any alliance ranks and companion influence but to slow it down anymore is terrible. I'm to the point that I can't imagine having to do this exact same grind on my other 7 characters. I'm likely to only do the story on the rest and skip all of the other stuff. I've been working only on my main character and I'm starting to become very discouraged with the mountain I'm being required to climb to gain levels with the alliance and companions. After leveling Lana to 27, I can't imagine doing this on any other character. Please reverse the changes. The grind is sickening.

It's been a year now and this is still an issue. Can we at least get an acknowledgement of the problem?

Well, I would have NOT even attempted to get one of the slot machines had Eric not implied (and certainly gave me the impression) that it was more or less working as intended and wasn't an exploit. It was the first, and will be the last time I purchase a hypercrate because I no longer trust them. Apparently the QA team was fired or severely reduced as this should have been easily caught as not working properly. We should have been told up front that we were beta testing it. Let the buyer beware, indeed.

It was probably the gold farmer bots macroing it that got it nerfed hard. Honestly Bioware you should just ban the gold farmers rather than punish your actual customers. Besides you can go on any starter planet and clearly see them macroing and just ban them and be done with it.

When Musco said that the slot machine wasn't bugged and was working as intended, I decided to buy a hypercrate (my first) to try and get one, which I did. If I had known that he would backtrack on what he assured us was true, I would have not bothered to try and get one. I know they reserve the right to make changes but this does feel like a bait and switch.

Agreed. This was the first time I bought a hypercrate just to try and get one of these things and they are now worthless in their current state. It would be nice if they dropped other reputation items because once you've maxed out the one that's in there, there's no point to it anymore given the current odds.

Well knowing how patches typically go, maybe your speeder, which has been silent recently, now laughs and the Hutt is now silent. Sadly we aren't allowed to have it all at the same time.
