  1. I've been running some random mastermodes and I keep getting false emperor, and while doable, Jindo Krey is bugged. As far as I can tell he's been bugged since KOTFE. Has this bug been acknowledged? Will this ever be fixed?
  2. Thanks for the stream guys. The amplifiers are the one thing I really wanted to give my feedback on. Perhaps there just isn't enough info on how these work, but I'm a little confused as to the role amplifiers play in the gearing ecosystem. Tacticals seem to play a role of defining your playstyle, set bonuses maybe less so but still can modify your abilities, mods "uninteresingly" change your stats (more item rating, more damage). So where do amplifiers come in. From the sound of it, they simply sound like increased damage, survivability, etc. I'm not clear what they provide that mods don't. It seems like amplifiers provide the same sort of effect, only with less of an impact. The main difference I see is they are locked behind a further wall of RNG. While mods have fairly simple RNG (gear will randomly drop approximately higher than around your gear level), the RNG on amplifiers sounds more random as there are more options (healing etc.) Furthermore, the RNG will be behind a credit sink for rerolls. Personally, I'm not a fan of tying gearing into the economy (so I'm also a little frustrated with augments, but that's a whole other thing), but I see this as an even bigger problem with an added RNG element, which I believe will lead to frustration. TLDR; Is the reward of amplifiers adding anything interesting to the game that isn't already there? And is the added frustration of RNG worth that reward?
  3. My roomates and I have recently made toons on this server and are looking for a raiding guild. We currently have 1. A sorc Heal/DPS and Jug DPS (Jug is mostly for PvP but has PvE gear) 2. A Jug DPS 3. A Sin Tank (may be unavailable for a few weeks) We are currently looking to move up from a guild that ran ops mostly on a whim into a regular raiding environment. We are college students so homework can prevent an entirely strict schedule, but certain nights are generally free. We would like to run the new SM ops regularly, as well as the old HM and NiM ops, and possibly some of the new HMs. Please message me here on the forums or contact Brittishcoal via in game whisper or mail. Thank you.
  4. Does anyone have it or the schematic? I'm looking to buy.
  5. Yeah, i just assume it isn't tooo big of an improvement. Plus there's all the different kinds of damage it could play with.
  6. I've heard the devs say in streams they want to increase performance of sorcs in PvP but not PvE. I came up with the very basics of an idea to do so. Please elaborate on your opinions. I suggest adding a skill or ability that increases alacrity when attacked. This could be done with a skill in the healing tree, or an ability that can be used like enraged defense, adding a certain number of stacks that could increase alacrity instead of health. This would not affect PvE too much as the tank should be the one taking damage the majority of the time, but helps when a healer is getting focused and does not have force barrier up, or cannot use it, such as with an electro net.
  7. How do mount unlocks work? I noticed last week there were two coastal varactyls as decorations. Do some mounts come with 50 unlocks or is that due to legacy unlocking or what?
  8. I suppose all we can do is hope.... Or get a dev to spill the beans....
  9. Ya I know they aren't out yet, that's the point. It appears they come out daily. If I'm behind will I be able to get the last one?
  10. I started the daily quests a day late. I have to do hybrid strain tomorrow. Will I still be able to get the full set?
  11. I have two trees set up for my first tanking character. The first of which is classically set up in the defense tree: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500frGcuMrkhoZhMd.1 The next is mainly set up in the vigilance tree: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500fMG0uMZhGrMMhzzM.1 The differences are as follows: Vigilance loses some abilities higher up in the defense tree, but it replaces Guardian Slash with Overhead Slash. Overhead Slash becomes more valuable due to the Vigilance skill. Vigilance also gains Effluence (gaining threat becomes easier and free) and Protector and Unremitting (making Guardian Leap used with Force Leap more effective). Which of these options should I take, and what are the advantages and disadvantages to each?
  12. I believe I was 9 or 10? I'm playing on mindtrick. I think we should roll some characters on the same server, that'd be super cool.
