  1. Bump for a fun group that amuses Sith in Nar Shaddaa, even if they thought my Pureblood was a guy.
  2. I'm playing a LS shadow, and level 44 now. I've gotten a Sith warrior and a Trooper up to 50, and so far, the Consular story is far and away my favorite. I got tired of it in the first act, much as I have with my bh, shielding masters and collecting bounties both get old at the same speed. However, some of the most jaw dropping moments in the game for me have been thoughout act 2. My only real complaint was that Tython was rather bland.
  3. Exactly. I was not in favor of f2p, and I'm still not happy about it, but if we are stuck with it, then let's make sure that it's a model that helps the game. The stipend is a good draw, as are the free respecs, section x, more characters, etc. However, gating the ui and the reduced xp gain reek of a money grab, and that drives people away. The gated ui needs to be removed and if you are going to give bonus xp to subs, have a way to shut it off if people want to level with ftp friends. Less punishment and more incentives will drive more customers to subs.
  4. First, if you don't play that character, then why are you opening packs on it? And second, the bind time keeps counting down, you don't have to be on that character or even logged on, for that matter.
  5. Go to the server status page and look at the number of pvp servers vs pve servers. Don't even count the rp ones, just regular. The truth is, the segment of the gaming population in mmo's that enjoys constant pvp is smaller than the population that does not. The separation is no more artificial than not having to worry about legal reprisal for the npc's you slaughter. I do not like pvp, so I avoid it, just as I do anything that I don't feel like doing at that moment. If I choose to be on a pve server, then I do not wish to have pvp forced on me. Pvp on pve servers is always a choice, it can be avoided, your idea for a bounty system does not give that option, and it would cause pve players to quit, and since they are the majority, the game would suffer. Now an opt in for pvp points, I'd be for that.
  6. I would love a customized order for my characters, especially now that we have two windows. That way I could divide them how I see fit.
  7. Yes, please! right clicking on a name should bring up a list of options, makes interacting with others so much easier.
  8. On my inquisitor, I had a scene where if you fast-forwarded though Zash's dialogue, she would look as if she were having a seizure and then get confused and start to do a little dance. It was so funny I must have redone that scene 20 times.
  9. 1. Same gender romances and flirts. 2. Mini games Pazaak, speeder racing, that can be pvp or solo 3. RP additions (sitting in chairs, more action emotes for actions already in game, such as leaning against a wall)
  10. First off, being at war doesn't mean people don't talk, the military's of the world have a slew of interpreters for a reason. Second, trash talk happens, even if they have to go on an alt. The cure is the same either way, ignore. You can give people unlimited ignore, as that list is usually handled client side. Or else only allow it from people on your friends list, just make that list big enough to handle at least twice as many people. I'd just love the option that people on my ignore list don't even render, so I don't have to waste comp resources on them.
  11. Still here, still lurking, still love the game. I do miss the civility of the old forums though.
  12. I never knew this thread was over here, as I don't tend to frequent story and lore. Any reason why this isn't in general along with character slots and space? I mentioned this in general chat the other day, and was surprised by how many people are eagerly waiting for this. They said this year, and I'm holding onto that promise, so much so I haven't made characters I want to have romances on yet, and who knows, I might re-roll if that's what it takes. After all, I'm here for the story, not the endgame.
  13. I would just like to point out that Wow is not a total sub model either. A vast majority of their players (Asia) do not have subs, they have a pay as you go service. The millions that are leaving are from the sub paying parts of the world. So using WoW as a reason to say that subs are a viable model isn't exactly accurate.
  14. Wonderful, I get to wave goodbye to my nice server community, and have to shut off general so I don't have to hear about how much this game sucks compared to X. Bioware, is there any way you can ditch EA? Take up a collection or something? The credit farmers are going to go nuts once they can get in for free. I mean, how will you be able to stop them? I am worried.
